I absolutely love this VPN. Unlike many of the other "free" or even paid VPN services, PIA keeps no logs, doesn't track you and really seems to take your privacy seriously. Where I live and work, social media such as WhatsApp and Facebook are not allowed, so we have to use a VPN to access these services. PIA is consistently on and connected when all the other guys are having to restart theirs several times a day! I will keep them as my service until they are no longer in business!
Overall good. The application was easy to install, excellent speed, affordable. I have always used it with Windows, so I do not know how well it works with Mac OS.
I don't have any other experience with other VPN providers, but Private Internet Access is great. It's simple to use and only cost me about 85 bucks for 2 years of service. No cap on how many devices use it overall, but you can only use 10 simultaneously. But that's fine for my use case. All in all, it's worth it.
Full linux support via GUI, simple to use, cheap and effective. Only thing you guys could do better is keep up with Netflix ban hammer.
Great service - works seamlessly - no hiccoughs - ever!! The only hiccough I had was when I renewed after my first 12 months - just some admin glitch. They were very responsive and sorted it out quick. Great attitude. I recommend PIA HIGHLY
When their vpn is turned on for my iPhone, none of my apps can access the internet - or when they do the proxy is so slow that apps time out trying to get a response. Three years ago their service was much faster more reliable and cost less. On the Mac, internet is noticeably slower, but at least it’s accessible. Since the secondary purpose for buying PIA was to anonymize my iPhone internet, and it makes my iPhone useless when turned on, I have to drop a couple of stars.
Easy to set up on multiple devices. Straightforward to use. Good speeds. Excellent quick response from technical support. Had an issue with iOS devices dropping connections. Tech support recommended switching protocol to OpenVPN. Connections solid with OpenVPN.
Private Internet Access is good .. It is serving me very well .. Thanks
Just started to use your product and it works fine, my only question is during set up the 2nd verification, I just can't quite figure it out. Can you break it down to the simplest form. Thanks
Ok, so I’m not sure what’s going on here? On 6/16/19 I get a courteous email letting me know that my “Account grace period” was about to expire. There was an issue with PayPal. I tried making the payment via PP but couldn’t so made the PayPal direct with my CC. 6/20/19. I get an email that Payment was received. I took the deal of 2 years, (plus 3 months free), for $83/87. 6/20/10 received an email that my Account was activated. Your Private Internet Access account is now active, your login information is: Username: XXXXXXXXX Password: XXXXXXXXX So today I get an email from PP saying my automatic payments were suspended. I updated my software and it shows that I’m only on a one year plan that expires on 6/14/19. I don’t want to fix the PayPal as I want to make sure I don’t get double billed and that everything is ok with the account. I’m quite happy with the service and have been for years and I don’t know if it’s PIA or Comcast, when I test with Comcast the best speed I can get is Download speed of 94.9Mbps and Upload speed of 12.6Mb while when I’m not connected I get Download speed of 331.8Mbps and Upload speed of 16.9Mbps With speedtest.net test it’s Not Connected - Down 151.86Mbps Up 23.91Mbps Connected – Down 71.99Mbps Up 22.50Mbps With Speakeeasy.net test it’s Not Connected - Down 159.5Mbps Up 23.9Mbps Connected – Down 92.6Mbps Up 22.5Mbps With the AT&T test it’s Not Connected - Down 28.6Mbps Up 24.06Mbps Connected – Down 17.16Mbps Up 22.61Mbps With HighSpeedInternet test it’s Not Connected - Down 28.6Mbps Up 24.06Mbps Connected – Down 17.16Mbps Up 22.61Mbps So is it Comcast, or PIA?
