I've used PIA for many years now, and have had little to no issues. It is the BEST VPN in my opinion. Tons of mostly reliable servers (though occasional hiccups.. but ive only experienced it once in my years), I trust them shockingly to not log, which is why I use them. The speed is pretty good, it doesn't noticably slow down my network unless I'm trying to download certain things, which is because I have top of the line internet and it's just kind of insane to expect them to live up to the speed of an ISP with WAY more money and assets than them. Encryption is great, many options, speed or security or a mix. It's a good VPN for both nerds and average people, the GUI is easy to use, the app is really nice looking and always updating/improving with new features/fixes/etc. It has about every feature you could want from competitive VPNs and I feel safe with the service, and their prices are really good as well. Sustain the service. 9/10 or a 10/10 for me
Was traveling in Vietnam and needed a VPN so I could access Hulu, ESPN, etc. Was very easy to join and worked immediately. Had no problems working on my laptop, a tablet, and my phone. Very pleased so far.
Be careful. It can close the service from your country without previously notification and refund. it is totally unfair. Be careful, please.
I have been using Private Internet Access (PIA) for over two years now. What keeps me coming back is the simplicity of the user interface and the ease of use. I have used various VPN services in the past and none of them come close to PIA. If you are looking for your next VPN service provider look no further!
I've been using PIA for many years, because it's good value and a tight private security VPN. Also a good yearly price unlike so many others forcing you into a three year contract.
I reached out to customer service about an (unbeknownst to me) expired deal through Kinja Deals/The Inventory for a 3 year plan. I was wondering why the page wasn't loading the deal when clicking the link over on the Kinja site and they told me it had expired. But, they offered me an even better deal and the service was so friendly and fast I decided not to let that slip through my fingers. So far I've just used the iPhone app, but it works great and is very easy to setup and use (even for someone like me who is somewhat new to using a VPN). If you're on the fence, I'm here to tell you that you should absolutely give it a try.
I purchased the VPN subscription one week ago, and my opinion thus far is that it is just so-so. The protection and confidence that I get when using Private Internet Access is definitely a big plus, but the unintended consequence is periodic connection interruptions and connection delays. I installed this on my iPhone and this seems to be the biggest problem, as on my laptop there are fewer issues. I thought that this product would be entirely transparent, but apparently not.
I am happy about the services and mainly the app for android is seamlessly connecting when changing network between Data and WiFi. The apps so far I used including Express VPN doesn't connect seamslessly. These apps required to be open and connect again when changing network. One little concern is that when trying to connect to FitBit.com, it shows with the error 1006. It says that "The owner of this website has banned your IP address (196.52.84.46). I selected automatic region which connected to UK Southampton server. This is annoying as I have to switch off VPN to sync my workout via FitBit app. Can this be resolved please.
I’ve used them for 6 years. No complaints at all. Everything works as it should. I will continue to use PIA for many more years. Good value. Good performance. I’m happy.
So far so good, I've had PIA for approx. one week. Works well with my system. I have been very pleased with the extremely low latency even when connecting to distant servers. No DNS leaks. Overall, I feel that after time I will appreciate the service to the fullest.
