Used to be good, I could see my Netflix shows while travelling by logging back into my home country.. Now it stopped working, but stuck in a long contract.
Does what it says on the tin trying not to let any others in. Excellence hard worked for I believe.
I've been using PIA for 4 years now, and they provide a reliable secure VPN anywhere I go, at a reasonable yearly price. They also provide 30+ worldwide gateways, which come in very handy in my work (as a web developer). I highly recommend them to everyone
Before subscribing to PIA, I did a pretty in-depth research for VPN providers in the market. PIA was the perfect fit. Value for money is what you'd get with PIA. I've been a user for the past 2 years now, and I've never had any issues with their services. They just keep getting better and are extremely consistent! I only encountered one problem with their app on Mac.. when my Mac comes back from sleep, my PIA connection is disconnected. I wish the connection would always remain active. This way, my apps that do depend on PIA tunneling, don't lose connectivity!
I've utilized PIA for 2 years and am satisfied. The issue I encounter is occasional VPN connection slowness and interruptions. I select a different PIA connection point and all is well.
Any time I've had a problem (very rarely and never a problem, more questions) the turnaround for a reply is very quick. The price for what you get is ridiculous.
The concept of this company and its services are great. However, I would love it to have variable server IP's to compete with changing regulations.
Been a PIA client for several years and I am very happy with the service. Good speed and throughput, great price, minimal interruption and very helpful support staff. I have the VPN running on Win 7 desktop as well as iPad and iPhone, all of which run trouble free. Highly recommend!
There is nothing wrong with this service that I can find. It's simple and works well on both my computer and phone. With that said, there are times that I find myself trying to buy something at Nike, visit Yelp, or use Craigslist (there are others too) and it tells me that I am not welcome because of my IP address. I have no clue how to solve that problem. There are people much smarter than me running this business. With that said, I don't really like having to search for a region or country that these sites will accept. I'll continue to use PIA for the foreseeable future, until this IP blocking becomes too cumbersome and then I'll search out a smaller player with less people using those addresses.
Excellent price for the speed and reliability of the service, in the first year I've used PIA I can count the number of times I wasn't able to instantly connect on one hand (and those sorted themselves out very shortly afterwards). 90% of the time I don't even remember it's there, it functions so seamlessly.
