Been with PIA for over a year. Had a few tech issues with PIA, it can be snaggy with Windows 10 (ugh). The support is amazing; very responsive and very helpful. Infact, best online customer service for any product, tech or otherwise.
I have been with PIA for almost three years. I enjoy their trustworthy service of providing a secure, private connection. Plain and simple. Thanks for the great service and I will continue to use it as usual for years to come. It is a bit of a slower connection, but that's a given considering the secure layers it goes through, and that's actually ok. SIDE NOTE: Per one of the previous reviewers - it is fully disclosed if you choose the annual plan that it's billed annually. If you forget, you need some kind of reminder program (various kinds are free on Apple and Android). This IMHO is just negligence on your part regarding remembering - due diligence.
Using PIA for two years now, and in early day's with a bad ISP DSL connection, had too many drops with PIA. Since upgrading my Cable provider, have had virtually no problems with this service. Thank you for your help, understanding and patience, as I eliminated the week link. Highly recommended, and at a great price. Wouldn't go any where else, PIA is the best
I was originally worried that installing a VPN would slow down my connection, but it hasn't happened. I'm very pleased.
Simple to set up and run on PCs and Android. Reliable connections are set up, Good performance on streaming, rarely any buffering issues. My only beef is that the BBC is very aggressive in identifying VPN sources and it can take quite a few attempts to connect. Perhaps a greater turnover of IP adresses. Could also do with a VPN connect in Belgium.
PIA VPN works very well. I sometimes have trouble connecting, but I think that is because China is trying to block access. I keep trying various locations until it connects. Once connected, the VPN usually stays connected for days. Very reliable.

Couldnt ask for anything more simple from a VPN. Monthly fee is very cheap and the install is smooth and easy. The GUI is perfect and easy to use. There are a ton of servers to pick from. They also have an app for ios and android which is great. Anytime I am in open wifi I flip on the VPN and feel at ease. Really no complaints other then occassional slow speeds for downloads. It usually speeds back up after a bit but every so often it may slow down. Not enough for me to give less then 5 stars, but if it was on a scale of 10 I'd give them a 9. Very satisfied over all.... and its just a super simple process from beginning to end no advanced technical or computer understanding required so I wouldnt think twice about recommending it to anyone no matter how skilled they are with computers or networking. Honestly there is no reason not to have a VPN and this one is great, albiet Ive only used this service.
I had been using PIA and liked the service, the download speeds were slower while using it but apart form that I was happy. I had it in my calendar that the renewal would be coming up but before it did PIA automatically charged my credit card. I was not happy about that at all as there were deals going on for PIA discounts but I missed out because they renewed without contacting me first. I will be looking at other options next time. Tried talking with them via the online chat but was cut off once I started asking about it.
I use the organic mail program on my MacBook and Thunderbird on my Windows machine. I have learned to go to the web version (ex: GMail) whenever I am on an untrusted network. I take either machine depending upon the project I am pursuing. When at home, I often turn off PIA. It really does not like Thunderbird. Still, that seems to be the only bug. I get protection with only minor annoyances. Isn't that what we want in a product? To use it and not know it is there? Thanks PIA.
