Been with PIA For over 2 years I have tried other companies and experienced less offerings less speed and complicated ways to set up connections. The software does what it says and has lots of options, however I have cancelled my subscription due to very slow speeds compared to my unsecured connection. Furthermore the speeds were so slow sometimes that pages would fail to load correctly resulting in page errors among other issues. This has not improved in the 2 years that I used PIA so I have cancelled. A lack of Western Canada servers is also leading me to leave.

I find my connections reliable. My download speed has been slowing down frequently when using it though. Other than that, I would recommend PIA to others.

Flawless with Windows, a bit tougher with Mac and a real challenge with iOS. Once it works, it works fine. I would like for it to connect automatically every time I have my computers connected at home, but I haven't figured out how to do that. But I have no problems with the normal functioning of the VPN, so I am a fan.

My PIA service has had its ups and downs. I have had issues where my IP wasn't being blocked forcing me to use the lpt2 protocol. The Tap driver also messes up my ipv4 drivers requiring me to manually correct them. Other than the occasional hiccups I have been satisfied until PIA's inability/policy to not address ip blocking forcing me to turn off PIA when I use services like netflix. Time to look at competitor services.

In my second year, no real problems apart from the local servers are a bit slow at times (weekends are worst). Can't praise the PIA support highly enough, they really get it (support makes or breaks loyalty).
