I've been a customer for a few years now and it has been well worth it for the price for me. The connection has been reliable and fast up until v46 of their software. Post that version, the connection is very very slow. It is impossible for me to get >50KB/s torrenting after that version. I have tried v53, v54, v55, and v56 on different PCs and networks and they are all very slow. Easy fix is just to find the old version installer online and it works great. But waiting for them to realize and fix it for a newer version. I searched Google and there are forums of people experiencing the same thing. It seems some people aren't affected for some reason, but many are.
I would give 4.75 stars, if allowed. The only reason I am marking off a quarter star is because I originally signed up for a month, immediately fell in love with the software and service, went back to renew for a full year, but the rates had increased overnight by just a smidge. So that was a tiny disappointment. But I renewed for a full year anyway. So far, great stuff. No issues. There are times it slows down, but I know either my ISP or the internet in general are probably to blame. The speed picks up quickly after the slowing. So thank you, so far.
Have no complaints has worked great from the start. They notify you of updates, the speed is great, really you get everything you would expect to get.
I'd previously used another VPN service and wasn't happy with the difficulty of working with the interface and their unreliability. Since we've been with Private Internet Access I have never had a problem. It couldn't be simpler to use. Very reliable, no glitches. I'm very happy.
The install was easy, the configuration on both Windows 10 and my other devices was better than I expected. I would recommend this tool to anyone interesting in internet privacy. I will be adding this to my "parents support line" profile :-)
I have been using PIA for several years now hand have never had a problem with it conflicting with any other software. I run it on a iMAC using OS X Yosemite. (Note: El Capitan is really not ready for Prime Time). Although OS X is fairly secure ( more than windows anyway) I love the added sense of safety by not having my IP addressed not tracked back to me; whether by a nefarious website or the federal government.

Works quite well on my MacBook Air (Mid-2013), MacBook Pro (Mid-2009) and two iPhone 6's, but... 1. I want the VPN on all of the time, period. Netflix and Hulu stopped loading content until I turn the VPN off for 2 seconds to start the videos. That's super annoying. 2. Not sure who to blame, but there are random speed issues that are resolved when the PIA vpn is disconnected. Otherwise, I'm super happy, especially when I found out that you guys made an app to setup apple devices instead of doing it manually. Thanks a bunch.
Allows two simultaneous connections and port forwarding, android app works great and I've been very happy with it. Lots of information on their website to get it working with many different configurations. I've successfully connected with Windows 7, 8, 10, Linux, FreeBSD, Android and Apple iOS. Great selection of servers in different parts of the world. Won't allow you to get past Netflix's geo blocking anymore but that isn't their fault, I merely include the information in case that is the reason you are shopping for a VPN.
I would be 5 stars, but I don't like the disconnects which seem to happen when the DL speeds are high. (I'd rather be throttled back than disconnected.) That said, I was very impressed with the way IP Address Leak Vulnerability was handled (Nov 2015).
