I've had it for about a week now and so far its great! It works for the Internet on my laptop and both of my phones. Even works on my phone when I'm using LTE.
first time using a vpn service.I was very worried about having problems with installation and conectivity because there is no way to test this software for at least one day trial. But I searched the web for info regarding the best vpn services, and after days of reading several coments of people around the world sharing their experiences using vpn,I decided to try PIA for a month.I must say the installation and understanding how the software works was like a walk in the park.I am very pleased with myself.
I have been using this service for over 2 years and can't be happier. The investment here is clear. You need to protect yourself in the Web and this is provably the easiest most versatile way to do it. Also, it protects your pc and Android.
Скорость. практически не страдает. Всё устраивает. Зашифрованный тоннель PIA, это то, что надо чтобы сохранить свободу в России без цензуры, когда никто не будет вам указывать, что читать и на какие сайты заходить. Удачи всем, друзья!
I have read some negative reviews about PIA but I can honestly say I have found that their customer service and the VPN itself to be excellent. I am no computer or vpn expert, so that when I decided to choose PIA I was very cautious of my choice. As I do with all new products I did some research before I made my choice. After trying out two of the most highly recommended VPN clients and having to get my subscription returned to me, I was wondering if me and VPNs were ever going to get on. My issue was that I could not get the vpns to work on my media streaming box which required the VPN to operate on kodi and openelec, not that straight forward as the number of posts on about it on various VPN website's will show. Anyhow after more researching PIA kept coming up as a possibility. So I paid my money to PIA and tried it out straight away to see if it would operate on my media streaming box in openelec and kodi. All I can say is to my amazement with in 5 minutes I had a operating VPN running in openelec. The other connections I needed it for there a breeze. I had to make a few inquiry's to the PIA customer services, whom I found very helpful and most of all fast in assisting me. This is my experience with PIA and I can honestly recommend them based on my contact with them. Highly recommended.
When the service did work for me.. I was pretty happy. But it very often didn't. There were constant issues with internet speed. There were constant payment issues that I would have to contact customer support to deal with. Customer Support tickets would often be down... click the button... Nope, no page here. I'd highly recommend you find a better VPN provider. Working with Private Internet Access has been such an awful experience
I've experienced many small glitches in my internet usage thus far. My first action was to contact the support team. I didn't experience any human support back. I felt that the replies were either reactions to a misunderstood message or an automated version, literally using copy-paste. Now, I don't mind copy-paste! By all means, do be efficient! However, when you copy-paste Windows solutions to an OS X-based question, I gotta wonder if you've even read what I bothered to type in. I am still experiencing quite problematic glitches and am still not receiving proper support. I love VPN in general. When it works, it works great. I'm even willing to accept that VPN isn't suited to certain types of internet-based applications. If I don't receive the support I need to make PIA VPN work accordingly, however, I feel the need to start switching VPN providers in hopes of one that interacts with me on a 1-to-1 personalized basis whenever I run into trouble with using a service I'm paying for.
Great service and great support for a product that is seamless, invisible and fast. It's as fast as if you weren't using it. This opinion is my own and I didn't get any benefit or cost break from PIA for it although I should have asked for one. I wouldn't surf without it and that is the truth.
Whilst on the front page it says Professional support staff, VPN service specialists It also says, PPTP, OpenVPN and L2TP/IPSec However almost all the responses you get are the same "Thanks for contacting PIA Support, Unfortunately we do not offer direct support for that issue, I would suggest following that forum post to see if anyone is able to solve the issue, " So beware you're not actually going to get any support for major devices like Qnap or Synology, or even setup guides that would help you to help yourself.
great service at the BEST price around. Get it.
