PIA was recommended by a friend who is very happy with it. It does what it says on the tin and allows you to connect through servers in other countries. Some of them are a little slow, but disconnecting and reconnecting automatically or manually selecting a site will sort this. It is not slow every time it connects but sometimes some manual intervention is needed. Other than the comment above I have had no issues. I would recommend setting it to connect automatically on start otherwise you may forget.. I have. If you pay by visa etc. it automatically sets up recurrent payments. To get round this I used PayPal and then cancelled the recurrent payment within PayPal. PIA sent an email to confirm this within a minute or so.

There is no free trial for this service so you have to pay and hope it works - serious flaw because it did not work on my system. But because so many reviewers online have had trouble cancelling the automatic direct debits they set up with PIA, cautious people like myself pay with a gift card. Lo and behold, there are no refunds with gift card payments, despite consumer laws. When you complain about this refund policy you get an email address that nobody ever responds to. Avoid! Until they change to a free-trial policy, even of an hour or two to allow you time to see if it works, it is WAY too big of a risk.
