I was really a little tentative about the whole idea of a VPN, but got a recommendation from a trusted friend, and geek, who uses PIA. I had visions of complicated changes to my computer, constantly having to use workarounds, and a slowing of my connection; but since I was quite unhappy about the loss of protection for my user data I went ahead anyway. Well I am delighted to announce that the whole process was not only easy, but even easier than I thought. Any problems I have had , and there were really only two, were my own doing and quickly corrected. My upload and download speeds do not seem to have been affected and I have run into no crashes. Admittedly there are some sites that I have to "open" myself up to (banking sites just do not tolerate VPN and you can easily see why) but since I use the Chrome browser and that has a handy "on/off" button for the VPN it is no big deal. Any questions I have had were quickly and expertly handled by the Tech Support folks at PIA and were answered with an e-mail in under 24 hours. I don't know if I will run into any problems going forward, but so far as I can tell this service is exactly as advertised, easy to use, and quite economical for the safety it provides. I could, and will, recommend it to anyone.

I use the VPN service from Thailand so that I can use services in the united States which required pretty high bandwidth and the service is very solid. I attempted to use tunnel bear and it simply want able to handle what I needee it to.

I've had PIA VPN for a week now. It was a breeze to set-up. Works as advertised so far. However, I have seen a reduction in upload and download speeds.

It's terrible for iPhone but exceptional for Mac. The iPhone version keeps cutting out and has to be disconnected and reconnected. Not a product I would recommend for mobile devices.

I only needed a VPN for one week, and it provided. Easy to use, but underwhelming download speeds.

I'm trying to get a refund, so far unsuccessfully. Submitted fix tkts for no connection. No response. Just more bot surveys re my "satisfaction". No customer service. No connections. What more can you say?

I love the idea. I expect that I will love the service in the future. You've randomly changed my password on me twice in last 36 hours -- I suspect simply because you're getting so many requests that your bots are overloaded. When I can reliably log on, without having to worry about what my "new password" is, we're good....

I like the product but the combination of overwhelmed service (the Congressional action to allow ISPs to sell info has driven customers in droves to PIA), the buggy operation on my iPhone and iPad and the continual problems with access on my PC led me to ask PIA to cancel my subscription and refund my money. [PIA--Please do not put the canned response to this comment that you're posting elsewhere. I got it several times by your customer support people who seem only to send and resend versions of it. You have a problem and I urge you to fix it].

I HAVE BEEN AFTER NEW SERVICE FOR SEVEN DAYS AND NO SUCCESS IN RESOLVING THE PROBLEM.. THEY HAPPILY TOOK MY MONEY, THEY HAPPILY ARE REDUCING MY SUBSCRIPTION TIME AND THEY PROMISE 24/7 SERVICE.. I contacted them (new service technology) with no answers. All I got was a pop-up statement asking for patience and they would contact me in 4 - 6 hours. After 36 hours and 5 request for assistance, I still got no answers. I started looking for a phone number, and all I got was a fax number for their attorney! He responded by phone and was kind and said he spoke with a supervising technician who would get back with me shortly (This was 8 am).. I stayed at home all day waiting for the call which came at 11:30 pm MY EMAIL. I responded to his letter, but never heard from him again THIS IS A SCAM - THEY GET YOUR MONEY, CHARGE FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, AND NEVER ANSWER YOU. Still no service on the eighth day.

Fantastic!!! Have been using PIA VPN for a week now. I have not noticed any reduction in speed, and have had no dropouts or disconnections. I have it installed on a Windows 10 PC, Windows 10 Laptop, Windows 10 Surface, Android and iPhone. It works flawlessly on all the devices.
