Decent service for the most part... But there are a few annoyances. First of all, the service and speed as a whole are good most of the time. You get some slowdowns, but simply switching servers usually solved the speed problem. I was with PIA for a few years and fianally switched to another provider. They couldn't get their app to work on my iPhone. It connected fine on cellular data, but would absolutely not connect on Wifi. I always got the message "Internet unreachable" where the VPN IP address should be. I travel a lot and do not want to waste my cellular data when a Wifi connection is available. At first they gave me all these things to try and, needless to say, nothing worked. They finally told me it was my ISP blocking them.... I replied, "So nine different countries, including the USA, are blocking my iPhone from connecting to Wifi with PIA?" I finally just gave up. I switched to another provider. now my iPhone connects flawlessly to Wifi everywhere. PIA needs to work on their iPhone app. Other than that, the service isn't bad at all.

In reply to PIA's response... I have been through all of this with your staff. For three years there has been no solution. The connectivity problem only happens on WiFi. Cellular data works just fine. I don't dislike the service as it has been great, other than the iPhone connectivity problems. Now I am travelling much more and that WiFi connection is really needed.

I did use Tiger vpn for years, but a few days ago was not connecting anymore, send e-mails to support, no answer. A friend of mine did have P I A for years and told me it was great, so in paid and got it. So far everything works great.

Je l'utilise depuis 3 ans maintenant. Je n'ai jamais eu de souci. Notre IP est bien masquée, On passe vraiment pour une localisation dans le pays du serveur. Les taux de transferts sont quasi-équivalents à ce que me permet ma connexion, et cela ne déconnecte jamais.

I'm a new customer, so my rating is based on 1 week experience. PIA is very easy to set up. The icons showing PIA connecting and connected are nice and clear. Speed is fast with no delays. I feel very happy to have chosen PIA for its security and protection.

I have tried three or four other VPN providers over the years but no other company can offer the amount of fast servers around the globe that PIA has, especially at such a reasonable annual price. I can also stay connected to their servers on my desktop, tablet and phone for long periods without having to worry about getting disconnected. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!

The company that bought PIA(Kape Technologies) was caught doing something shady in the past. I've been with PIA for many many years so when they were bought by this company, like many others I was worried. Kape has made it very clear that they want to go down a different path but even so I was still worried. But Kape has made some of the PIA source code public. They paid a lot of money for PIA and there is no other VPN service under a microscope more than this company. Everyone is looking for something to expose to the world. Because they are open sourcing code and being more transparent. Because they are under a microscope is why I've started to use them again. Hearing what happened and checking out interviews at the face its very obvious they want to be a company people trust. They paid a lot of money for PIA and if they for even one second do anything even slightly sketchy nobody will ever trust them again. PIA will turn into a paperweight of a company nobody will use or trust. A lot of people will never trust Kape and therefore PIA but under the circumstances. The things PIA is doing to be transparent and the fact they are under a microscope is the exact reason I trust them 100% They deserve the one star reviews for what they have done. Companies should never behave in certain ways but at the same time I really do believe they want to change. I figured I'd write a review because the one star reviews don't explain anything. It's just unhappy people remembering the past. Kape paid a lot of money for PIA and I don't see any chance of them doing anything to throw that money out the window. They are being transparent and as of March 8, 2020 I 100% trust them. Do some research and make an informed choice. Everyone is watching this company. For me that gives me every reason to feel safe because the entire community is watching them. They are a company that won't survive if they screw this up. As for the service it's great. Whether phone or PC it's great speeds with an easy interface. It's why I used them for so many years and never once thought of changing. As long as they keep their promise I will be with them for life.
