I downloaded this program a couple of weeks ago and when it works, it's fine. However, since I have downloaded it, it will only connect to the server about half of the time, and it has caused my computer to frequently lose connection to my modem. Very disappointed that I signed up for a full year. Update: After trying to get support, the issue persists. This product simply does not work as advertised for me. Would not recommend to anyone. Also, the "support" has been quite useless. I have been trying to get my money back, but have had little in the way of help. I have opened multiple tickets and received the same useless advice each time. "Download the program, Turn off the kill switch, make sure auto connect is on" (all of which already were in place). I just want my money back, but no one seems to respond to this part of it. Please refund my money and cancel my subscription. I just opened a 3rd ticket (448510) at your request. Why not waste even more time dealing with this?

I purchased this VPN and cancelled on the same day because it did not work with the websites I needed it to work with. They say if you cancel before 7 days you get a refund. When I cancelled it said my account was cancelled but still useable for the remainder of the time I paid for. It did not mention anything about refunding my money. I have sent numerous emails and requests and no one has gotten back to me about my refund. The only email I have received back was asking for me to review PIA. So there is my review. They ignore you when you try to get your refund. If you are looking for a VPN I would choose one with better customer service.

Wow, I can't believe how great my experience with PIA has been. Certainly not a PIA, if you know what I mean! I've never really had any issues, the service works well, and the documentation on their website is helpful. Can't speak for the support as I haven't even had to use it, but it seems like it would be helpful. No complaints.

Updated: 09/10/17. To be completely honest I use Private Internet Access solely for torrenting so my review is in regards to my experience with their service for this alone. I had a recent hiccups with their service but I've been able to address most of the issues so I'm raising my rating to four stars. I have been able to tweak my download rate to about 1/2 of what I get without a connection to PIA so it is definitely workable. Also, I had lost connection beforehand but it was because the program was periodically communicating with their servers and my anti-virus/firewall program wanted my input but since everything was running overnight I was not there to respond so it defaulted to disconnect. I've since been able to add in all of the exceptions so no connection problems now.

Joined less than a week ago and can't access iPlayer which was the reason I purchased I would like a refund!
