would not recommend PIA after my experience with them. Still trying to get them to reply to my tickets and Emails for a refund after six days. It seems that they do not want to reply to tickets asking for refunds hoping you will go away. Last ticket No 456572 Ken C
I wish I had read the reviews here before I purchase the subscription on 30/9/2017. I could not use the app and start the service on my PC after numerous clean install following the installation instruction strictly on the company's web page (even after a complete refresh of my Windows 10 only for this purpose). I had used other VPN services without any issue, just don't know why. So I submitted support request tickets to the support team (request ticket no. 454096 on 1/10/2017) and new user support team (request ticket no. 454762 on 2/10/2017) requesting help and resolution, but no support replied even after four days. It is undeniable that I am far less than 100% satisfied with the PrivateInternetAccess VPN service after such delay. According to PIA's refund policy, I know they will gladly refund my payment if the refund is requested within seven (7) days from the date of the purchase. So PIA guys, please refund the full amount to my Paypal account as soon as possible (request ticket no. 456803 on 5/10/2017) if you see this. Hope the refund won't need to wait forever like the others viewers' experience in this site. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because, although the customer support is really poor, but be fair, it works fine on my Galxy S7 Edge. We just didn't make it on my PC. But it is a good deal if you don't encounter any hiccup and/or need customer support.
Well, I looked PIA up among other companies and your company was rated #1, so I decided to give you guys a try and I must say, so far it has been a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! To be honest I never thought I would even need a VPN for my laptop and wireless devices, but after reading up on it's functions I knew I did!!!l Thanks for a great product to say the least!
I am finding that the download speeds vary quite a bit.
Sinds een dag of 3 een jaar abonnement gekocht en het werkt prima. Geen problemen met instaleren of iets dergelijks en de interface is simpel maar zeer effectief en gebruiksvriendelijk. Ook de snelheid is goed. Een aanrader gezien de prijs en kwaliteitsverhouding vergeleken met andere VPN aanbieders, upload en download-snelheid is zeker lager dan van me eigen provider maar dat kan ook niet anders me dunkt. Ik kan nu ook TV kanalen via internet kijken met PIA buiten Nederland wat ik anders niet kon. Groeten vanuit het zon overgoten Nederland -)
I purchased a year subscription three days ago, and the service does not work on my chromebook. Have filed several service tickets, and have not heard back. I have cancelled my subscription and have asked for a full refund. Haven't heard anything yet, so I hope the company makes good on their 7 day trail.
Application purchased 5 days ago still does not work on my iPad. Zero support and no possibility to cancel this purchase via I store with zero answer as well.
Very quick and easy to set up and use. Speeds are good and I'm pleased with the service. Thank you!

Many are seeing that support for PIA isn't what it used to be. Possibly outsourced? I registered for an account and it took 5 days before I receive login information. I had to request this, despite PIA taking money. 2 support tickets were ignored, in the end I use the public forum on the site to request a support contact me. This should not be how requests are handled. I also notice that my account only have 359 days of use available, despite unable to login for the first week. I will not likely renew the service as I was close to requesting a refund. Update: As support are now reaching, my password has been reset 3 times by different staff due to unclosed ticket. Also notice they did not follow up my 359 days question in pasted response below.
