Simple to install. Easy to use. Speed good so far (one week). Many servers to choose from if speed becomes an issue on the auto selected server. I think after reading the bad reviews mainly due to many people not following very basic install instructions or not reading the setting/use instructions. If you have a basic to good understanding of your computer functionality & internet connection, should be a breeze. Product works as advertised and has been an excellent addition for me.

I'm handy with a computer but I'm no engineer. PIA made it a five-minute process to get my VPN set up on all my devices. I always put it off before because I didn't understand how to do it, but PIA made easier than doing the dishes. I'm thrilled.

Het programma is snel en makkelijk te installeren en werkt ook wel goed. Alleen de snelheid volgens de diverse speedtesten laat te wensen over met minder dan 8 % van de snelheid welke mijn internetprovider levert. Heb ook diverse buitenlandse serves geprobeerd maar dat maakte hoegenaamd geen verschil. De optie Geavanceerd ook geprobeerd maar dat zorgde voor een nog lagere snelheid en meer problemen met diverse sites die niet geopend konden worden. Dus graag wat meer snelheid en ik ben dik tevreden.

PIA is honestly a good product. I found all their servers were fast. I also get good speeds on p2p sites. They also have SOCKS5 proxy which is great. Plus it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. I will give it a solid 5.

Easy to set up and get going. Speed was just as fast as it was before. The year package has a socks5 Proxy included. I have had no complaints at all using my e-mail or banking. Everything just kept on working as before except now I feel a lot better about my internet privacy.

I have been using this service since last year. I have not had any major problems, I appreciate being able to configure the connection from my router (Merlin on Asus), as well as being able to use it on several devices at the same time (and if you redirect all your devices from your router, this still count as one device). There is plenty of locations to connect to, but unfortunately some are not very high bandwidth. I do not like that the parameters of the "DNS Leak" type modify the parameters of my connection in Windows but do not restore them on the closing of the program. If I activate these functions, once the program is closed, I am obliged to manually modify the parameters to return to the initial state. Also, the port I was connecting to from my router changed overnight and, without being notified, my protection was OFF for a while... Not having contact with the support, I can not judge of it, but the forum and the tutorials are online and updated.

The service is absolutely unreliable! I bought 1 month to try. And first 2 weeks the speed and stability were great! But then after several reminds from PIA to extend subscription the speed dropped significantly. And nothing helps to increase it. Awful support and unacceptable reply time for any kinds of inquiries. The only reason to use this service is if you want to waste your money for nothing and spend a lot of time to make it work properly. answering PIA reply: let's start from the very beginning when i didn't even get any kind of reply from sending email to "newuser @ privateinternetaccess.com" even though you promised a personal reply within 24 hours.

I used PIA in the past. It's an easy to use, average speed but reliable service. I liked it using on my computer when I'm on hotspots.

After buying one year of service and activation on my computer, my internet speed went down 40 to 6! Trying to contact customer service for several days and trying to resolve the issue, didnt bring anything. Now trying to collect my money back within 7 days cancellation policy no luck again! Here is one of the multiple ticket numbers 464700, I have 4 or 5 open!

Most of the time the sites I was trying to access would not allow me or knew i was browsing from outside the USA. Worked only about 5% of time, and sometimes began working and then stopped working. Very disappointing!
