So far so good. I bought a 1 month subscription and followed a guide that I found online for configuring the VPN / Proxy and my bittorrent client. Internet browsing, file downloads, and latency all seem to be very tolerable. Granted, my VPN server is only a hundred miles or so, so I wouldn't imagine the performance to be impacted too much. But no issues thus far.
