VPN can be a complicated practice if you're not "in the know" about these things. However, post your questions and do your research and you will be absolutely satisfied with PRIVATE INTERNET ACCESS.
Het is zeker geen slechte VPN, na wat testen kon ik geen DNS-leaks vaststellen. Er is een Kill-switch functie, die ze verstopt hebben bij geavanceerde opties. Maar die werkt niet naar genoegen, zo kan je heel gemakkelijk en dus onbeveiligd al surfen alvorens de VPN überhaupt nog maar is opgestart. Wat de functie een beetje teniet doet. Desondanks dat PIA een grote speler is, is het aanbod toch redelijk beperkt qua landen. Ik mis Rusland toch als mogelijke optie.
Fast, secure and lots of servers! But theres no Tor over VPN which is a bit of a dissapointment.
This is my first experience with a paid VPN service/app and so far, it's good. The speeds are slower than without a VPN but it is still usable for my needs. If there is one thing that I really DISLIKE about using PIA is that it is a HUGE battery hog. My two daily-driver phones - a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - both have their batteries drained at a MASSIVE and unusual rate. The severe battery drain is present both during active phone use and during idle standby. I have also experienced accelerated battery drain when using PIA on my Windows 10 laptop from HP (late 2017 model). If PIA can offer its services with much less of a battery hit, it would be perfect.
Great experience using PIA. My one suggestion, which would cause me to change my rating to 5 stars, would be for them to implement an anti VPN detection software system. This would provide an experience to suit a much wider array of needs and would allow use of services such as Netflix with a secure VPN enabled.
