Tried this service to replace my current horribly inconsistent and slow VPN provider NordVPN, as recommended by Tom's Hardware. I was excited. Turns out this service isn't much faster or better in my area than what I have. Disappointed. Last time I listen to Tom. Service was cancelled. No service tickets please. Been there, done that. It works or it doesn't. And it didn't work that well.

Het contract met mijn vorige VPN service provider liep af en betaling van een verlenging was alleen mogelijk indien ik mijn PayPal account koppelde aan een van mijn bankrekeningen wat ik niet van zins ben. Op zoek naar een andere VPN service leek mij PIA een goede keuze. Eenvoudige betaling via IDEAL en bovendien voor een 2 jarig contract betaalde ik hetzelfde als 1 jaar service bij mijn vorige provider. Was verrast over de eenvoud van het installeren van de PIA software. Na enkele dagen gebruik ben ik zeer tevreden over het gebruiksgemak en de snelheid. Jammer is het voor een frequente reiziger als ikzelf, dat de dekking wereldwijd (geen service in Afrika, Zuid Amerika, en Azië is ook maar matig bediend) wat te wensen over laat. Desondanks raad ik de keuze van PIA van harte aan.

I am a new subscriber to this app. Previously I used NordVPN and it was SLOW. Even though PIA only has two Australian servers. They both work fine. I had an issue where nothing would load on my android phone while connected. But I later found out that that was because I had power saving mode enabled. It works like a charm on my laptop and iPad and for $2.50 a month for a 2 year plan it's at a great price. The application for Windows, IOS and Android is lightweight and has a wide range of customizable settings. I would highly reccomend this VPN for anyone who wants a cheap, secure and fast VPN.

It is good. I've been using this VPN on my laptop and my phone and didn't notice any significant decrease in transfer speeds or battery life. The app for computers is not as intuitive nor well designed as for e.g. Tunnel Bear, but most of the people should not encounter any problems with it. App for iOS in my opinion lacks customisation, but there are some restrictions put on apps by Apple so keep that in mind. My only issue is that there is no information before a purchase that SMPT is being blocked by default. That is the protocol that is used by the most of the mail clients, so for some people -- me included -- that causes additional hustle. They explained to me that they need to block SMPT in order to block spammers and that they should be able to unblock SMPT for my traffic. Nevertheless I feel that this should be clarified before purchase. As for right now, their support team is troubleshooting this issue. PIA stands out for it's reputation and that is probably the most important quality of a VPN. But they lack a little bit in a user experience department. This is why I would say they are good, not excellent. Nevertheless, this is a solid service. Key things like reputation and reliability are there. I strongly recommend it.

I've tried more VPN security programs and had problems with internet speed and accessibility. PIA seem good so far. I hope they'll add more countries in the future.
