Compare NordVPN via BesteVPN.nl
I've been using NordVPN for a couple of years but just recently I've read they have NO clear No Logging Policy? IF true it's disappointing and I'll be switching provider when my current subscription runs out.
I have got 3y subs plan. At first they had only 5 servers for the country that i needed (Serbia) for streaming after that they have expanded to 39 servers which is awesome and it worked very well until few days ago i dont know if they have limited all server because i have done rigorous testing with all of the custom settings over their native app and openvpns etc and every server from #6 to #45 so all of them they have max download of 5Mbps. From different countries like any FROM EU work ok. I dont need from any other but one that i have mentioned. So overall my score for then is 0? why because i have asked them to take a look and i lost 1h on chat with support and they didnt want to look at their end at their servers. So either they are capping my bandwidth from those servers or there servers are shi**. update: over the weekends and at evenings/night its less then 1Mbps which is not even for a normal video call not to even mention streaming. update 20190907 this was fixed and now it works as "normal", thanks
Decided to try it out after seeing it advertised everywhere from YouTube to actual TV ads. I tried the 3-year plan as it made the most sense (cheaper than the rest on a per month basis) but refunded shortly after. My connections kept dropping and I tried the advice on the website to fix this to no avail. I also don't believe Nord are entirely secure. That said, the live chat replied swiftly and fully honoured a refunded (I was within my 30 days).

You are correct, I have not contacted support in quite a while, however what you left out was that my review was based on my last, in a very long line of interactions with support attempting to correct the issue. I chose not to contact support again due to all the previous attempts, and solutions provided me which did not correct the problem. Seeing NordVPN is not willing to do the right thing, I cancelled my auto renewal, and will live with the poor performance while I search for a replacement from a reputable VPN provider. Service is poor and customer service even worse. I subscribed to NordVPN and paid for the annual subscription. At first, the vpn service worked well. Then several things started to happen. First, extremely slow connections, then connections dropped or frozen to a stop. After that, email on three devices, phone, iPad, then MacBook ceased to function. I contacted customer service who responded with several solutions, which all failed. After multiple emails (no voice support available) I asked for a prorated refund due to their service being unusable. The response I received was a cut and paste legal disclaimer. It is clear that NordVPN has little or no interest in correcting subscribers issues or standing behind their product. Buyer beware of interest/ vpn services who hide behind the vail of email and do not allow customer interaction by telephone.

I'm amazed by the number of bad reviews. I've been with them a few years and have had no problems. I'm using Linux (mainly) and even wrote my own connection script as there was nothing for Linux at the time I joined. They do have official Linux software now anyway (but I'm still using mine). Customer services have always been very helpful and fast at responding and have provided all the information I needed. I also use the Android App which is super easy, basically click and forget. The only criticism I have of that is that it periodically forgets my login credentials and as my password is complicated I have to look it up again. My wife is also using the Android app and the VPN on her laptop. There are no DNS leaks. I've tried various servers but mostly use UK (where I live). Some servers are a bit slower and occasionally the connection stalls but it's easy to switch server etc. Speeds are generally good and what I'd expect from using a VPN anyway. The biggest issue I have is not actually a fault of NordVPN (or any VPN provider) and that is the BBC! They employ some kind of VPN detection which makes using the website painful. Best to use one of the newer (higher numbered) servers in that case. I'm actually confident their claims to no logging etc are valid (as confident as I can be with any VPN provider anyway) and if anything to the contrary was to surface I'd simply change provider.
Hi Team, I am using NordVPN on my Android TV to watch Indian TV channels the problem is, I have to always check my mobile to see which indian server is best at that particular time. There is no auto connection to the best server option. This is really frustrating. I bought the 3 year plan which was the biggest mistake I have ever done in my life. now I cannot get my money back because I passed my 30 day period. I thought it might be a temporary issue but now it is getting worse day by day. Can't even watch a TV program properly. Please give me a solution NordVPN? I trialled this while outside of the UK and it worked once - after that struggled to work. Meantime, Nord/Apple took my money after a week on an APP auto-renew. And now both are refusing to provide a refund. Not a positive experience at all....! Wouldn't recommend.
I bought the 3-year deal. What a huge mistake! Do not trust your favourite Youtubers on this one, people. The issues began the moment I installed and enabled NordVPN. Constant connection drops, forcing me to wait for the client to get its stuff together every time. The connection would drop for 5 minutes at a time, which is pretty long and not to mention annoying when it happens multiple times throughout the day. I had a couple e-mail conversations with tech support, and they really tried to help, but to no avail. Disable this, uninstall that, change these settings, stop using Torrent clients etc. After many tweaks I thought I finally got it to work properly, but alas. It'll just drop for no reason, mention it's connected anyway, and mess itself up. I got screwed over by the internet kill switch, too. If the client logs you out, you won't be able to disable the internet kill switch and you won't be able to log in to disable it. It's way too much of a hassle to get it to work, and the website didn't inform me that I can't even use Torrent clients with it. Tech support had to tell me this, despite NordVPN advertising that yes, it's possible to use torrent clients with it enabled. I'm going to have to use this until 2022 since I'm way past the refund period. I assumed I would be able to get it to work within that time, but that was my mistake. A mistake I will not be making again. At least it works on my phone, I suppose... One star for the VPN. Giving an extra star because the tech support did try to help me out to the best of their ability. I will not be renewing my subscription. Edit: Oh wow, I never expected such a condescending reply. You didn't even read my complaint, that much is apparent. A quick chat with the support team? Are you serious? Did you miss the part where I said that despite how awful NordVPN is, I praised the support team for trying to help me, at least? Please check out ticket number 2963715, in which support tried a lot to help me, but without any success. I'm also going to change my rating to one star because NordVPN literally does not function on my pc anymore, and it's only been giving me trouble on the phone and other devices lately. It just does not function well, and if I could get my money back, I would go for it right away.

Fra danske servere er tabet ikke så stort, og varierer efter hvilket server den kobler op på. jeg har 500/500 mbit. og oplever fald til mellem 150-400 mbit på danske servere. Kobler jeg op på servere i UK eller US falder den til mellem 30-100 Mbit afhængig af server. Det kunne jeg leve med, men det største problem er, at mange hjemmesider slet ikke er tilgængelige. Jeg får at vide at siden er blokeret af min firewall. Så snart jeg kobler VPN fra, kan jeg komme ind på siden igen. Jeg har ikke helt besluttet mig for om jeg vil beholde produktet endnu, da jeg ikke kender til kvaliteten på alternativer.
