This is more a review about the wonderful customer service I received when cancelling my free trial with Nord VPN. I told the guy helping me - Jim- I would leave a review but was not given the option to do so, therefore I'm going the extra mile, Jim I hope somehow you're reading because I felt bad for not having left a review. NordVPN Jim was a good aider through chat! You should promote him, thanks for the help Goodbye
Worst experience ever. Not only did it not work (rerouted me to the wrong country), but they also lied about the money back guarantee. To add insult to injury they never answered my support ticket (sent June 3rd-4th through their website) , and keep spamming me with automated messages which they specifically said they wouldn't do. I didn't even get a confirmation email with my ticket number. It´s through your website! Can´t rate this poorly enough. If you advertise a 30 day money back guarantee and no spam make good on it! EDIT: second ticket sent with subject "second ticket" . Ive gotten a confirmation this time, ticket ID #3422551. EDIT 2: updating stars,received refund,thanks
I have used their service in the past without problem. I recently used their nordvpn for Android tv. It was difficult to set up and then it would not work. By that I mean the streaming service blocked them so I couldn't watch the service. As they promised streamless integration I ask for a refund. Also their emails to my complaints agreed that they have a issue. However they have not given a refund and suggested I use a laptop and HDMI cable. And while this might work it is not the easy integration they promote on their website. I am still waiting for a refund and am surprised at their reticence as they supposedly have a 30 day money back guarantee.

Technical review: * Low speed during the day. * Good speed at night times. * Sometimes it takes very long to connect. * You may get blocked by different sites when using the normal VPN servers. In this case you have to user the (slower) obfuscated ones. Purchase review: Don't believe you hit a really special offer when visiting their homepage. They are always "on sale", 365 days a year. Even on Black Friday you get the same prices as on every other day of the year (~100$ per 3 years). They trick their visitors by having a countdown implying the sale will be over soon. But you may rest assured that it will just get another name. I don't like tricks of that kind.

NordVPN is total and complete scam, the service does not work. Ever since I started using NordVPN my internet activity has been intercepted, monitored and censored by local and federal government with no help from NordVPN on resolving the issues. I’ve written to NordVPN multiple times asking them to state in writing that their service is legitimate and works as advertised but NordVPN will not do so, instead I receive a politically correct response describing their service with no confirmation that the service actually works. DO NOT TRUST NordVPN for IP anonymity or security or with your personal data, NordVPN IS A SCAM 6/15 - Yes NordVPN I was a real customer. No NordVPN I will not post my contact info in a public forum. I now have a US Federal court case pending against me because NordVPN is a scam and does not work. DO NOT TRUST NordVPN.
Update: NordVPN have been prompt to respond to all my emails and the escalation through Trustpilot had finally brought the case into a successful conclusion! Thanks! Let me know, once you add the USD amount in the checkout page and I would be happy to change my recommendation to 5*! The website advertises prices in a different currency than they are actually charging. At no stage, the USD amount that will be charged is shown! Customer service confirmed that the USD should have been depicted in the last stage however they are not doing anything about the bug. It doesn't seem that NordVPN is benefiting from hiding the USD amount however customer service although acknowledging the problem they don't care to fix it! Upon questioning further and asking compensation for the foreign exchange fees I have incurred, they instead cancelled my account without giving any explanation! Then they confirmed they messed up by "mistakenly" cancelling my account but denying to reactivate it...
