Encrypt.me is an excellent paid VPN solution. Their macOS software works as a menu bar app that makes it easy to enable and disable the VPN on demand. All the Encrypt.me software includes an ability to automatically connect through a VPN depending on which WiFi network you are connected to. Everything is well done, reasonably priced, and subscription levels are easy to change based on need.
