I was one of the users who did way too little reading before deciding to set up a VPN on Linux, and predictably, was ready to quit after about an hour. Jeff, a Surfshark support technician, patiently and graciously held my hand through an almost 2hr support session, that left my VPN running smoothly, my DNS working properly, and config files in /etc/ calibrated correctly. This experience left me with a greater respect for the skills of applied networking and Linux administration, and a deep appreciation for the calibre of support technician that Surfshark chooses to employ. In one of an infinite number of possible parallel universes, your computer may not actually accept Surfshark VPN, but you can be assured that they will still try their best to get it working.

Downloaded this VPN to get my Nintendo Switch online type from D to B. Very friendly chat operator helped me through multiple restarts and were online after 5pm. As of writing, a fantastic deal for a two-year service. Would recommend to anyone with this issue. Thank you SurfShark!

I feel that SurfShark is still ironing out a few of their issues with software updates, but this company continues to impress with their customer service and is by FAR my preferred VPN after trying several others. Recently, I had an issue when installing their newest software version, and I was impressed by the speed of their customer service team in helping me resolve the issue. It took several attempts over two days, but they were friendly and helpful along every step of the way. It is now back to running perfectly well! I appreciate knowing their customer service team will actually respond promptly to any issues, and this is NOT the norm in my experience with other VPN companies. Highly recommend SurfShark! I do hope I need their IT team less in the future, but it's great to know they are there and fully capable and friendly to help. :)

An amazing economically priced VPN service with the most responsive live chat service I have seen. I have tried out many VPN services over the years and this newbie VPN called Surfshark is definitely at the top of the game. To be able to stream US content Netflix, Australian Stan, US Amazon Prime Video without issues is fantastic, and all at top speeds as a bonus! I recommend anyone considering using a VPN or changing VPN to seriously consider Surfshark.
