I signed up w PureVpn awhile ago after finding a 1 year, BoGo coupon online. After signing up I noticed a discrepancy as my PayPal listed my next payment due at the one-year anniversary instead of the two. I contacted pier VPN immediately with the links and screenshots necessary to show them where this coupon was from but without hesitation they were able to confirm this info and extend my membership as originally offered. That was a couple years back in March... Although pure VPN acknowledged this offer when I first signed up, I forgot to modify the Subscription Renewal payment on my PayPal to charge me the year AFTER next! When I realized PayPal ran the charge the following March, I kind of shrugged it off. I’d been happy with the service all along and planned to extend it anyways. I figured it would just be tacked on to my subscription when it ACTUALLY expired - the following year. I just deactivated the automated payment and continued to enjoy my subscription figuring they’ll post the credit the following year. But when March came around the bend, I received a notice stating my subscription had expired and I was due to renew if I wanted continued service!?!??? This happened a couple weeks ago and although I have proof via screenshots in an old laptop, it would be a huge hassle to retrieve them as I don’t use it anymore. I was very hesitant to contact customer service because I didn’t know how long they kept records OR if anyone would be willing to pull up my chat history to confirm this to credit my account. While contemplating whether this was worth my time, I decided to go online to search for the latest and greatest/highest reviewed VPN services! Although I’d never had a negative experience with PureVpn (aside from this mixup) I assumed I’d be laughed at after explaining every sorted detail to Customer Service and if they did screw me over, I wanted to make sure my next provider would be just as reliable - or even better! How could a service being touted all over the web as superior, be suffering so many foul reviews!?!?! I have been a member since 2016 and have had noting but great experiences. I sometimes have an issue with connecting to a server but I hop on the chat service and in a matter or min they have walked me through how to get back up and running. I am set up for auto renew and don't foresee a time where I wont be using PureVPN
