Unauthorized charge after canceling the account for the next year. Don't trust the company. **Edit** Please check other 1 star reviews for similar customer experiences, not I am the only one and it is not accidental. Maybe this is part of business politics. Other, I clearly asked to not harras me after the review and I still got emails. I put them on my spam list. Just see my email and email spam folder traffic to get a real picture of how this company (not) works. 3 Dec. - [Request received] Cancellation Form 4 Dec. - Response for my cancellation form with marketing b**s**t: "You might think that a VPN service can be useful for a specific purpose but you might get surprised to find out that a VPN service can help you do a lot more than you might have imagined!" 6 Dec. - "Update: Cancellation Form" - "We hope that your issue ******* has been resolved successfully. " - Solved with marketing b**s**t? 21 Dec. - Re: Auto-Recurring Cancellation Confirmation 21 Dec. - Your ? Visa card ending in **** has failed 21 Dec - ** PureVPN Customer Success ** - Your refund request has been received and initiated and you will receive the refund in your account in the next 5-7 business days. (just note, I have not asked refund, I had to cancel my bank card because PureVPN tried to charge me 3 times in a day...) 22 Dec - "Invoice Refund Confirmation" ... "Please note that a partial refund has been processed, and the refund is returned to you via the payment method you originally paid with." 24 Dec - 2nd notice: Another unsuccessful payment for your PureVPN account ... "Just retried to process the $69.95 subscription payment" 25 Dec - they refunded my original payment (9.19) I did not ask this... 26 Dec - 3rd attempt to charge me, the link in the mail to update my "subscription" is pointing to bank card update .. This company looks a robber. 28 Dec - new email : "Final notice: Need updated PureVPN billing information" 30 Dec - new email: "* PureVPN Customer Success ** Now, I would like to hereby confirm and acknowledge that your account with PureVPN has been cancelled and you will no longer receive any further emails from us. You will no longer receive any payment attempt emails on your email as well. "
I first purchased PureVPN as a service to bypass content viewing restrictions two years ago, at first I had no information regarding it and didn't really trust it. However, over the past year or so, I have gotten to know its usefulness as a software. Whether you're like me and wish to regain your internet freedom, or just want to remain as safe and secure while browsing or gaming, I definitely recommend this to you!
