Like I said, I had some issues in the past, where the connection would get very bad. The resolution was cumbersome, and at the end I think the issue was not even on my end, but lately connection has been flawless. Had some issues with win10 but it was also resolved quickly. All in all, I would recommend this VPN in a flash.
I use the service for my Laptop at my university office, two computers at home, and also on my android phone. I love it. For the people that get disconnected, it happens to all VPN services. I don't know of any that can guarantee full connection at all times. That is why, I use the Kill Switch option so that when the rare event it does need to reestablish the connection, my privacy is still safe. The pricing is really fair and their main selling, well at least for me, is the fact that they don't keep identifying records. So even if they were to get "raided" none of the data can be used to trace back to us, the individual consumers. I also love the fact that they have virtually the whole globe covered in terms of being able to get an IP that can be from anywhere in the world. Really useful for country or region locked websites or services. All in all, wonderful service with a very fair price. Converted some of my friends to buy it, maybe I can do the same with you too. Haha.
Usually PIA is absolutely wonderful, but every once and a while service will slow to a crawl and make even basic browsing a chore. However, this is infrequent and usually gets resolved within a couple hours.
Been a customer for about six months. Not a single issue to date
Very frustrating. Will constantly disconnect , and then fail to connect. Live support waste of time , very slow. Taken through , same , clean install routine. Always then directed to their help section , on their web site. Seems like they just want to fob you of with an instruction that will take you half an hour , so they can close the chat. Have had same issue on two different computers, both with bt fibre , home hub.
PIA used to be my go-to as far as safe, secure and fast browsing goes. Within the past 6 months my connection speeds have been terrible across the board. I have a 220x20 line which gives me full throughput until the point where I connect to PIA in which case I immediately drop to <10 down and <5 up. I always report to them each time I attempt to use the service and haven't seen any improvement. Colleagues and friends who also use the service report the same issue, speeds are great on their normal WAN but as soon as they connect to a PIA server (and I mean any server, I live in Texas so will usually use that one but have tried all North American based servers and get the same result regardless of time of day/day of week. Sad to say that after 3 years when my contract with them runs out I'll be looking to make a switch regardless of price.
