I wanted a VPN that ran across windows,linux and android operating systems and so far I have nothing but positive things to say. Installed easy enough on all systems and does what it claims. On the downside it slows my downloads from 50mbps to 40 according to OOkla speedtest but tolerable for me.

I have used another VPN for the last few years but decided to shop around as the VPM market has matured a lot. After reading various reviews I decided to give Private Internet Access a try. It was very easy to install and performs well. Excellent value for money.

easy to download and operate - cost effective. impressed :) I have an overseas consultant who couldn't log in due to a firewall preventing overseas log ins. this sorted it - quickly - easily.

I come from a country in East Africa where rumors say the current president is making plans to monitor social media activity (Facebook etc.) to catch dissidents. The man absolutely hates being called a dictator, and he's even had some prominent politicians jailed because of their scathing comments on his presidency. Now imagine what he could do to a regular citizen who can't keep his big mouth shut? Anyway, so I got PIA because I'm gay and I like to watch a lot of hardcore gay porn. If the president decides to pull a Uganda and scapegoat us gays to detract from the real issues, at least I know my a$$ is covered by PIA. For just $40 a year, it's a bargain! Nothing beats being able to watch some good old fashioned black gay bukkake porn with some peace of mind. I know the secret police won't be bursting through my door any day soon. If you're not ashamed of your porn habits (maybe it's not illegal where you are? You lucky ba$tard, you!), that's okay! PIA has great speeds for other stuff like watching shows on U.S. Netflix, listening to music on Spotify and Pandora, and just general browsing. Seriously, do yourself a favor and let PIA cover your a$$. You won't regret it!

This VPN was highly rated, so I gave them a shot. Worked on some computers and not others. Submitted a ticket but didn't hear back. In the meantime I switched to Express VPN and submitted a request for a refund (per their advertised 7 day refund policy). No reply again. And now requests for reviews are showing up. sheesh...

I have tried quite a few including the free ones. I'm a pretty advanced user but always had trouble with other services or at the very least had slow connection speeds. Always came back to PIA.
