This vpn is very good, i was with cyber ghost, and it was initially difficult to set up and it kept crashing my network manager, sometimes several times a day. however since using Private Internet Access, my network manager has not crashed once and the internet is very fast as well. i also found it so easy to set up. thankyou PIA

I've been using a different VPN provider for a while and was dissatisfied with the throughput. I stayed with them for the price. A week ago, a friend recommended PIA. Turns out, it's only a dollar a month more than what I was paying. I'm getting exceptional throughput. I just wish I could watch Netflix while connected through the VPN.

The world of VPNs is treacherous in many ways, and what constitues a good service is not only not made very clear, but once it is, is very hard to come by. Many services offer a obfuscating VPN with no logging, for up to some quite serious monthly tariffs, and don't make it totally clear what they actually provide. This means that a lot of them don't have any sort of encryption whatsoever, and this means that if data is siphoned off (as it often is by governments etc) then the idea of the VPN may be completely wasted. PIA is clear insofar as what service it offers, and it really packs the full package. It does everything from masking country, to encryption every step of the way. Of course, all of this comes at the price of speed if you whack up the settings (even on recommended it can be fairly slow) but such is the nature of VPNs. PIA really aren't messing about with what they offer. My only major gripe besides the speeds is that there's no Firefox addon, but if that's a major gripe you can tell how tiny my issues are with it. Overall I've had a great experience, the service is thoroughly trustworthy and reliable and it is very high quality.

There are a lot of VPNs out there, offering fairly comparable services at similar prices. What distinguishes Private Internet Access is the number of devices and OSs it's compatible with, how easy it is to sign up and pay (with total anonymity by using gift cards bought with cash, if you want), and most importantly the excellent customer service. They proactively contact new customers about common problems and provide information before you even have to ask or search for it. They seem quite dedicated to providing the best VPN experience possible. For example, there is a function built in to the server connection menu to report slow connections with one click.

I just again realised how reliable PIA is and felt compelled to write this review. I've used quite a few providers before and none of those services have been as reliable and fast as Private Internet Access. The connection stays up for months at the time, without failing or disconnecting. It is a testament of it's reliability. I could not be happier with this product and no hesitation to highly recommend PIA if you're in the market for a reliable and fast VPN service.
