I love the service. The ad block feature is awesome when it comes to using Facebook and other mobile apps that put ads everywhere. I like the peace of mind when using public WiFi. The only two complaints that I have is that some servers will be a little sluggish at times, but there is a "report slow connection" button so Id assume they get taken care of. My other complaint is the Android app is somewhat of a battery hog, but I think it has to do with lack of service. Other than that I'd rate it 9/10. Totally worth the investment considering the lack of privacy rights to come.

I decided to go with this one because it was one of the highest ranked among a survey. No regrets. I used to assume that being on a VPN would mean a slower connection, but I have yet to experience that. They have their own iPhone app that automatically sets up and activates the VPN on your phone. You can also use OpenVPN. I have both because my school's wifi acts funny with it sometimes. This is totally worth it. I got a year for 40 dollars, which feels like an absolute steal compared to other companies. I definitely recommend it. They even check up on you with a service representative to see if everything is doing alright.

I purchased the service a couple days ago and my computer still is not protected according to the PIA website. Contacting Help did not help either (so far). They did manage to charge my credit card however.

PIA was one of the top picks when I looked them up, and while they do not have a trial, that's perfectly fine. Their reviews were good enough and the price for piece of mind is well worth it. Setting up is easy. Once you subscribe you get an email giving you the download for the Windows (in my case) install. You get a separate email with your user ID (you do not get to chose it, and that's a good thing really). Once installed you sign in with the credentials provided and you have to change your password. Don't be stupid and use an easy, common, password! There are some great free password programs out there to make keeping track of logins, user names, and passwords (as well as URLs and expiration dates) out there. Personally, I use Keypass (which you can DL free from sourceforge.net. That all said, once it is installed and you're signed in, you can turn it on and off with ease. Also, there is a Chrome extension, though none for Firefox. I like that you can turn it on and off with ease due to using my home system, Surface, and Android phone for both personal and business. I keep PIA on when doing anything personal, unless something requires me to disable it (which happens now and again). For business, I turn it off as it makes sense, IMO. Only CON I can think of is that on your cell phone, it keeps using data to keep the connection VPN running. So, when I am not actively using my phone and not on a wireless network, I turn PIA off. Easy to do. You can't go wrong with PIA, if you're looking for an inexpensive, well rated, easy to use, VPN. Do not trust "free" vpns. They aren't as "free" as you think.

A navegação em si está ótima, mas o sistema de alterar a senha achei meio confuso, em relação a outras empresas.

Overall, no issues. I'd give it 5 stars, but I really don't know if it's working. I just assume it is. It would be nice to have access to more information, not only how it works, but also how it's working for me.

I have been signed up for the service for 4 days and have been unable to send e-mail although I can receive it and browse the internet fine. After being told that I needed to get my server whitelisted. I sent the requested information immediately and still have not had the problem fixed. I was contacted by PIA support yesterday and they have apologized and corrected the problem. The service is now working properly. I am changing my rating to 3 stars as a result.

Many of the RV parks we visit while traveling offer WI-FI but it is often not encrypted. Even with encryption others using the network can eavesdrop on our data. Private Internet Access (PIA) was very easy to download and install on all the platforms I use. Five simultaneous uses means I can carry all my devices and just use the ones I need at the moment. Other providers with five user aggrements were more expensive and used number of installs rather than simoultaneous use. It was also very easy to use the application interface. Both my wife and I were able to use our laptops to view and respond to our email and I was able to read my hometown newspaper while on the road via their web interface. On trips before PIA I did not use my brokerage account due to fears of interception of my account details. With PIA I could keep up with my investments without interruption.

Been using for years. Trust them not to hand out my info. Price is awesome, and regional connections are strong and reliable.

The only question I have is: How do I know the VPN is working? Just because PIA is running, is it actually working?
