So disappointed in this product. I downloaded it for my ASUS computer and it was like I had dial up internet again! I turned it off and my computer was still slower than molasses. I removed it and my computer was back to normal. One day later, I went to cancel it and request a refund. I didn't read the fine print to notice that a refund is in Bitcoin no matter how you pay. UPDATE 12-5-17 I was contacted by the Support Department and a refund was promptly issued to my Credit Card. It appears that I didn't read the refund policy correctly.

I have used HMA for the last couple of years and have had a number of technical problems. HMA keeps logs Private Internet Access does not. PIA has a very simple user friendly interface that works! Also, it's about $20 cheaper than HMA. If the price difference were reversed I would still use Private Internet Access for a number of reasons. Secure and reliable are more important then price to me.

I have been using for over a year now. I have a Windows laptop, and a Galaxy S8 Android phone with PIA installed. Always use it when travelling. I recently vacationed in China where the great firewall blocks Google, Instagram, Facebook etc. Before leaving I checked the PIA website, and they indicated that there could be problems in China, and suggested that using PP2P with an ip address should work. So I set up a PP2P connection before leaving. But happily, I found that the basic Android PIA VPN worked just fine for the entire 2 weeks and 5 cities we visited. I did not need the PP2P connections. .I have no reservations recommending PIA.

I have been using the software for about a week now. I have it on a Dell laptop and my iPhone, and it seems to be working well for me on both. I have been flipping it on and off on both platforms, as well as using it at home and in public locations. So far so good.
