I tried NordVPN and it just did not work. Plus they hassled me when I asked for my refund in the first 30 days. PIA was not a Pain In the A$$. It just worked!

couple of points i think might help , the program download and installed without problem, connected to vpn the icon went green and said 'now connected ', i then conducted 2 tests, firstly i checked my ip and this had not changed so beware, although there is a solution ,you need to reinstall the PIA TAP driver (it comes with download and is usually in your start menu) before you launch PIA everytime., after reinstalling driver and then connecting to pia, the ip changed to selected country :) secondly i conducted a speed test, the results were fair seeing as the connection was routed through another country, (without PIA i average 56mbs dld , with PIA 30mbs ) the only other thing to be wary is the recurring payment feature which was easy enough to cancel

Working fine now, but after 3 hiccups which seemed like I was going to have to become an IT nerd to get it working and 4 emails, which I tried without success, after the last restart, it was simply up and running. This may have all been my ineptness, not sure, but without having done any speed tests, the slight slowdown, (thus far, and I will keep an eye on this), I am satisfied. Https was supposed to fix all of this, and we know it goes a long way but I wanted encryption, and though there is no way to know if that's what's happening, at least hackers are not finding my computer as easily as before. I'll stick with it for the time being. Now please PIA let's do this for stand alone email clients too.

My first home VPN solution. I can say that I have not noticed any meaningful performance degradation at all and its nice to have the added security. I use it on my Android phone as well (part of the package). The only downside is that some sites will detect that you are on a different PC each time you log in (like financial sites) so you have to go through additional verification. This is due to the IP address rotation that this VPN services uses for added protection. You can temporarily disable the VPN when you access those sites if the verification is annoying. I definitely recommend Private Internet Access!

This is the best VPN I have used this far. I have yet to encounter anything negative about it thus far. I put it thru a battery of tests such as DNS leak tests and it passed without fail and on top of all that it is blazing fast!. You can even use torrents easily, you simply can't go wrong with Private Internet Access!, I will recommend them to all my friends.

Just Sensational. I have been using PIA for a week now and it works so well and gives me all the protection that I need from a VPN. The price is competative and as soon as I downloaded it, it was active and I have had NO issues at all. I would highly recommend PIA to anyone as it was also recommended to me. I was using another VPN called SaferWeb and I updated my OS on my Mac to the latest version and SaferWeb is not compatible with it. I contacted them and they told me they are aware of the problem and over one month later it still does not work. Besides I had issues with SaferWeb from day one and I am now happy to find a top performing VPN from PIA. Thank you!

Giving one star due to the fact that I purchased on Monday, 12/11/17, it is now Thursday, 12/14/17 and still not up and running. Contacted Support on Monday, they replied quickly, however, seems they work off a script, did not thoroughly read my issue and what I had attempted prior to contact, for two days we went in a circle, on the 2nd day, was asked if I did this and did that, which were emphasized in 2 of my responses the prior day (same support person both days). 2 days ago my issue was "escalated", have not heard from anyone since. My issue was I could not install in Win 7. Resolved this on my own by installing v72. Contacted support yesterday with this info, and told them now I'm getting Error 691, still no response. I've been searching online for a resolution, but so far nothing has helped. I was prior subscriber with PIA and had no issues, but I also didn't need their "tech support". If anyone from PIA is reading this, please get someone to contact me that does not rely on a step by step "script". I already ran out of patience, this issue can't be an isolated one. Obviously reading is not a priority at PIA, the response to my review is evident. NO, I AM NOT UP AND RUNNING, I STILL HAVE AN ISSUE, PLEASE READ MY REVIEW. My ticket # is 500141. Please have someone help me resolve this issue.
