It's early days, but a couple of days in, and PIA have been pretty flawless. They've had a great reputation for years, and having tried competing companies, I can't fault them so far. Installation is pretty fool-proof. Maybe some of the advanced settings could have less opaque explanations, but I reckon it passes the litmus test - could my 70 yr old mum install and set it up?! I've not noticed a difference in speed from my non VPN connection (possibly faster than Virgin actually). Admittedly I've not tried non-geo Netflix or torrenting - not my bag really - but I reckon it'll be up to the same standard as the competitors. Let's face it, speed is useless if they sort-of log stuff. PIA don't.

For several years I was pleased with PIA, but for the last few months it will disconnect itself with no warning. I might look at my task bar and see the red icon--disconnected. I tried all the suggestions they had but nothing worked. My renewal is due in February and I will not renew. I'll try ExpressVPN. ------------------ PIA "responded" to my rating. Sort of. If you look at their responses to every criticism, the response is no doubt "canned." They say "reach out to them and they will help." Well, before I made the decision NOT to renew, I did "reach out" more than once...and I had ALREADY tried all of their extensive suggestions for a fix. Nothing worked.

Às vezes a latencia no app iOS some. Tem muitos servidores interessantes na Europa e América do Norte. Há muitos tutorias e chat pra tirar dúvidas. Só faltam mais servidores na América latina: Paraguai, Argentina, Chile etc.

VPN service works as advertised with decent speeds. Connecting to the nearest exit point results in no loss of bandwidth, but I observed an increase in latency which is to be expected so I have no issues with this. The mobile apps are easy to use as well. I'm deducting a star for two reasons: 1) there is only one exit point in the US that allows for Netflix content to be streamed, so circumventing geo-restrictions is not entirely successful but it does work; and 2) the bill was charged in US dollars, with my local currency of Philippine pesos not supported so I have legitimate concerns regarding a potential increase in cost due to foreign exchange losses.

Easy to setup, fast servers. My main concern for not using VPN before PIA was the fear of getting low internet speed. However, PIA does not affect my internet speed (at all?), there is ping delay for obvious reason but download speed is as fast as when there's no VPN on.
