I am using NordVPN instead of TOR. Nord has a really great server type - onion over VPN. I am using them to access the internet as it is supposed to be, full of surprises and interesting things, not from page of reddit and buzzfeed all day long. Speed for that is great and I am very happy to use it, works better than TOR in my opinion.

After seeing the commercials on TV I decided to give this app a try. Considering the political climate we live in, the ISP bill, internet throttling... signing with a VPN was a long time coming. The app (or should I say apps?) were very easy to use, probably someone with no background in computers could use them easily if they can function a smartphone. You can always see when you are connected with a glance of an eye, and they have a feature called "killswitch" which kills your connection when you loose the connection for whatever reason. Just for giggles I decided to try and see if I can view Canadian Netflix and... Yes I can. :) So to cut it short this service delivers and is easy to use.

There are lots of servers to use and I can chose from various different protocols to connect with. The app is very straightforward and intuitive to use, while also it has many extra features - I consider this service a bargain for it delivers considering its small price.

Waste of money not working at all in some countries like UAE very slow they don't update their software they promise to solve the above issues but do nothing at all don't waste your money

I used NordVPN during my stay in UAE. Had no problems with my mac and android devices. Fun fact: a lot of people use VPNs there even though it is outlawed. Was very worried before going, but ended up with a mindset that it is alright to use it there.

I paid for a year and in 2 months they disabled my account. The do not have phone support but they have TV commercials! I have spent 2 hours with 3 different agents on live chat to no avail. Never again!
