The service seems fairly reliable but Facebook and messenger do not work properly while the CyperSec feature option is switched on to remove adverts. This is disappointing as I want to remove adverts while browsing.

First I had ExpressVPN for a year, which worked perfectly, but it was quite expensive. That's why after that one year, I switched over to NordVPN, which was a grave mistake. It has been nothing but trouble. Their pricing is fine, but I've had a flurry of different problems popping up since I bought it. Unfortunately I'm about 2 months in, so there is no refund option available on my 3-year subscription. The first major problem is the app itself. I have used both versions of their app on my Macbook, but both have sveral flaws. Firstly is the design. It's the minor things, that make it inconvenient to use. The fact that you can only favourite a specific server, but not a country makes it annoying to reconnect to a specific contry several times, to get a new server. Also, the app is quite unstable, as I have had several techinal issues with both versions. One version kept crashing again and again, while the other version keeps reconnecting every 1 - 2 minutes, which is followed by a notification, that will not close automatically. Both versions also keeps logging me off every other day. The app for my iPhone is also problematic. It is slow to connect, and the app takes forever to open. Some of the features does not work as intended. They have a feature called CyberSec, which blocks malware and ads, but it also causes problems to some of the other applications. Specifically Facebook Messenger stops working properly. A final nitpick is that the app doesn't block your connection while it is connecting to a VPN, which means that whenever it decides to spontaniously reconnect, my activities online are not private, until the connection is re-established. That sort of defeats the point of a VPN, when my real IP is then revealed. At least they have a support chat that I found very helpful. Everything considered it seems to be a lazy implementation, that barely works. I regret supporting these guys with my money.

Only ever had good experience. I trust all the security features available. I believe the hack was just isolated, and achieved little considering that NordVPN keeps no data on us.

scammers of the worst kind. they try to get you to sign up via free trial, and then... no reminder. you just get a charge on your credit card. i did remember, messaged them the day the free trial expired, but they ignored it. after i saw the charge on my credit card statement, messaged them again asking for it to be refunded. no reply. later, after seeing still no refund, tried live chat. live chat customer service person says the "contact us" forms are unreliable(???) and therefore ITS MY PROBLEM TO KEEP REMINDING THEM to cancel. and now its too late so .... sucks to be me I guess. Unbelievable. Avoid. I'm reporting them to my credit card issuer.

Before leaving for China for 3 months and having read the guarantees of using Nord VPN in China I paid for a 12 month subscription. Worked for a week then packed in that was 3 months ago never worked since. The service they provided was useless, what a waste of money, avoid Nord VPN like the plague

The service appears to work fine HOWEVER, the cost varies across the internet, I stupidly downloaded NordVPN from google play, cost £81.99 for 12 months subscription, have since seen NordVPN advertising £2.99 per month for 3 years!. Contacted customer services but was fobbed off with tough luck response, beware, shop around, there are really good FREE VPN services available.

Dårlig VPN, speed er som at anvende et 56 K modem. Deres support er arrogante og gider ikke hjælpe. Connection fejl hver dag, virker som et lille dårligt firma kan ikke anbefales ...

Pire VPN du monde, que de la publicité mensongère, payé 150€ pour 3 ans d'abonnement, connexion monstrueusement ralentie dès que le logiciel est activé, la moindre page met 10 ans à charger, je ne recommande pas du tout. EDIT : Et pour répondre au service client, J'AI contacté le service client, jamais eu de réponse autre que c'est normal de perde de la bande passante, je confirme donc mon avis que c'est le pire vpn du monde, 150€ cadeau

NordVPN does not work with Sky Italia or DAZN. No refund was given after the services stopped working. Don't bother, it's obviously easy for streaming providers to block access. The VPN worked OK for the first couple of months, then suddenly stopped allowing access to the streaming services I was using. I assume the streaming providers put a block on the IPs and NordVPN will not fix it. This will probably be the case for other streaming services in the future, so don't bother.
