Dishonesty is the word that comes to mind. Frequently I have had to go back to their customer service via the website and it always pressures the visitor to buy into "limited time promo, only 9 hours left!" Except that I've seen that countdown timer of 9 hours 32 mins 7 or 8 different times of going onto the website. Clearly being deceptive. Asked a chat rep about it and said that offer had been extended... 8 OR 9 TIMES?! And that's just when I've had to look. Unbelievably devious. And we're meant to trust them with our personal information? Same as everyone else- I thought I was buying the vpn for subscription use at £2.32 monthly but billed all at once, I have seen response from NordVPN that they make it clear that its billed at once but they know they're being deceptive and clearly theyre not going to stop so just don't use them. Give your money to other, more honest VPN hosts. If they don't want you to think you're paying £2.32 a month then why take it as a direct debit?! No one does a 3 year DD like it's normal. In short, the company have fallen so far from grace, now as bad as the people and companies they say they're protecting us from. Judas.
Took out a 3 year subscription, cancelled within 12 days, and expected a full refund. I am based in the uk so paid in Sterling. The refund paid back to me was in USD and as the exchange rate had changed I received £9.66 less. This was not a charge from my credit card company and not highlighted as a possibility. I still have not had a reply to my last email, where I highlighted this flaw.
Elendig VPN service. Jeg skrev til support FØR jeg betalte og spurgte om de kunne levere nok båndbredde til min forbindelse (650mbit) og de sagde at det kunne de. Efter jeg oprettede VPN forbindelse røg der 60-65% af hastigheden uanset valg af server. Deres support ville have mig til at gøre en masse, som tydeligvis blev læst fra en tjekliste og som var helt hen i vejret (ændringer i netværk som virkede glimrende UDEN deres VPN) og som kunne få enhver IT mand til at hive sig i håret (er OpenVPN på router langsom? Prøv at ændre QoS på din Windows maskine. Flot!) og det hjalp ikke overhovedet. Da de ville have mig til at sætte samtlige maskiner op efter en mega lang guide sagde jeg nej tak! Når hastigheden er elendig både fra en hurtig gaming PC med LAN kabel OG hastighedstest direkte på en lynhurtig router sat op til VPN så ligger problemet i deres ende, uanset hvor meget de så end prøver at skubbe det fra sig. Om ikke andet så ligger problemet i at de lover mere end de kan holde. Opdatering til deres svar: De 60% tabt båndbredde var ikke via router, men fra en gaming PC på LAN.

Watch the pricing - they do not make it clear that VAT will be added. Also be careful as they do not make it clear that you have to pay in US Dollars so you will probably pay a currency charge. My experience was that I had had it turned off most of the time as it slowed things down too much. If using an overseas location either my log ins were rejected as I was not recognised or the info came back in the language of the country selected rather than English - ther may be a work around but I did not find it. Not worth the aggro.
Ich habe einen Account für drei Jahre online mit Kreditkarte gekauft. Die Zahlung wurde auch bestätigt und eine Aktivierungsmail angekündigt. Die Aktivierungsmail kam allerdings nicht. Nach einem Chat wurde dann zunächst ein Testaccount für drei Tage freigeschaltet. Weitere Emails wurden dann nicht mehr beantwortet. Der Account ist weiter inaktiv.
Very, very average indeed. It works. Tick. But it slows down any downloads dramatically. Doesn't enable access to paid for services out of area (e.g. BT Sport) doesn't allow access to paid services in area (e.g. BT Sport). Both Sky and BT Sport have them sussed and you can't get access to them when travelling. Or when not travelling - i.e. you have to turn it off to get your subscription service. Also ... since the above I've updated to the latest version of the App and now I can't send emails via Thunderbird, again I have to turn the VPN off in order that they go. I may have to revisit "Very Average" ...
Helped fix my P2P, was helpful in fixing proxy to socks5. Just been a good service all around.
Used to be good until they redesigned it. They went with a phone interface for all devices and it's now worthless to anyone who has vision problems. Their answer to that? It's not in their terms of service. Accessibility is a joke to them. Every one of their "help" is a "manager" and they simply ignore you if you ask for a higher up.
