Up until about 5 months ago I had been using NordVPN quite happily for several years and was pleased with their service. Unfortunately since Dec-2019 I have suffered from a variety of problems such as speeds slowing down and various accounts being blocked as they had been incorrectly flagged as being fraudulently taken over. This of course was not the case, it's just that NordVPN's shared IP addresses have been flagged by monitoring services so anyone else using the same server as the bad actor gets clobbered too. This is a lot of furstration and the best advice NordVPN technical support to to be able to give is to connect to the fastest server. Unfortunately I am unable to recomend this service and will be moving to an alternate provider once my current subscription ends (if not sooner).
Absolute garbage. If you can't connect (which I cannot 70% of the time, regardless of device or network), expect to come up against stab in the dark troubleshooting and for support to assume it's a problem at your end. The SLA means nothing because they refuse to issue refunds regardless of whether the service works or not.
It works perfect with IOS on my Iphone and Ipad but it is a disaster with Windows 10. VPN is still not working on my desktop. I had several times contact with the customer service and spend hours looking on the page of Nordvpn for trouble shooting but my problem still is not being solved.If i trie to open the icon i only get a blue shield saying loading but nothing happes. When my service expire, i will look for an other vpn service!
I've had nothing but issues for three months with this product and I would never recommend them to anyone. I have been trying to get a refund which they refuse to issue because they have a 30 day refund limitation. Of course they CAN issue a refund, they just WON'T. This product disconnected my internet connection countless times in a day. I could sit and watch it disconnect 10 times in as many minutes!!! I reused to believe it was the VPN giving me issues so I bought a new router, contacted my carrier to get a new modem, and exchanged ethernet cables. All over three months. I then disconnected the VPN - and unbelievably, I never ONE TIME lost my internet after that!! That's when I started asking for a refund and they refuse. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!
Well its a little wonky sometimes .easy to log right on one time then takes 10 or more attemps to get on. Will just slow down or drop you after few hrs and you got switch servers. Its ok just expect some minor issues have android s10 and windows 10 and chromebook on it the phone is best but still has issues .only really use for torrent downloads so its been fine for the 3 yrs i have been on it
Could be a great service, sick of dealing with non-functional customer support. Canceled my monthly service after 8 months and I’ll be moving to another VPN
signed up for monthly subscription 2 days ago and still says account innactive so i contact them and they say it takes 7 days for it to be active because i pay by direct debit why isnt this stated anywhere what a joke and i dont see anyone else have this problem so may be a lie
