I use Nord VPN on a regular basis and every time I use public wi-fi and have not had any major issues at all. I've been a customer for about 4 years and am currently signed up until 2025 such is my confidence in this service. This is one of the VPNs authorised by my employers (military) and I use it every time I'm abroad on duty. There are hundreds of servers available worldwide so there are no issues connecting at all wherever I go. The only gripe I have is that some servers "hang" and don't allow data transfer but by simply changing the server, service is restored. It would be great if this could be done automatically, however, a small price to pay for anonymity.

there are lots of websites that refuse VPN use on their pages even Netflix makes a problem of VPN use I am disappointed about the lack of adblocking
