The difficulty with a review of a service such as this is knowing just how effective their protection has been and the cost in terms of system lag etc while doing it. I do know that their server options have enabled access to unlikely sites and destinations. I have never experienced a loss of service, they have proven reliable. I can also say that after 2 years as a client, their terms are simple,the cost is minimal and their customer service is outstanding. I simply have not had a negative experience. I chose Nord after reviews via a CNet article. When I have had a kill switch issue rendering my only means of contact phone text, they responded immediately and enabled web access within minutes after a very thorough screening process. Updates are regular and the customer advice & experience is likewise continually improving.

Need a pin number to log in instead of email and password evertime.
I purchased a three year subscription of nordvpn yesterday afternoon after reading many reviews of the service that rated it as the best vpn and that it was easy to install and use, I was really fooled by these reviews. After I downloaded and installed it (one review said even grandpa could easily install and use it) I could not access the internet with nordvpn. I had to disconnect it to access the internet and request help from their customer service. I wasted a couple of hours trying everything their bot suggested and nothing worked. The bot would tell me to log in, sometimes I could log in but other times my password was not recognized so I had to create a new password and then log in, Then I was instructed to click on an icon and then another icon would appear that I was supposed to click on but the icon did appear. This happened several times, absolute waste of time. Nothing worked and I finally reached a customer rep. I cancelled my subscription and asked for a refund. The customer rep. stalled and tried to talk me into letting him help me set it up but after a wasted couple of hours and frustration I told him just cancel and refund which he did.
