I purchased a super cheap 2-year plan in October 2019, but I haven't been satisfied with the service and requested a refund. The only responses from customer support I've gotten were paltry attempts to keep me from refunding ("Tell us what's wrong and we'll see if we can fix it!"), and that's IF I even get a response. I'm now nearing the end of the 30-day period to get my refund. Stay away, because if you're not happy with the product, good luck getting your money back. ETA: Also forgot to mention they claim they have a live chat option. Spoiler alert: THEY DON'T.
Pathetic service. Hotstar India again stopped today. You cannot contact them because their live chat is gone now. They don't reply on Facebook messenger. Nobody is replying on ticket I opened. I'm struck on a 2 year plan now

To be honest, Surfshark left me with a bad impression, and I would never recommend it to anyone. The reasons are as follows: I have been unable to use it successfully since I purchased a 2-year product in October 2019. I know that this product has encountered unprecedented difficulties in China and has almost no solution. I ever asked for a refund in the email several times and the Surfshark term has no response. Then I got in touch with the customer service through "live chat", and he sent me 5 vpn configuration files. Through his patient guidance, I finally successfully connected the VPN. However, after one week, these configuration files are all invalid. I have to pass the "live chat” again, hoping to get in touch with the customer service. Unfortunately, the “live chat” has disappeared from the web page. I have no choice but to admit that I bought a painful lesson with a two-year subscription fee, and I hope Chinese users can learn from it.
