The VPN works as expected and is very quick and easy to set up on your browser. However (a little niggle), the user has to start the browser and then log in (to connect) using the browser's VPN interface (mine being Firefox) which is a little inconvenient - especially as it's easy to sometimes forget to log in. In addition, you can also connect to the VPN using other methods. Being a Linux Mint user I can also use the Terminal commands or Network manager GUI accordingly. When you sign up, what you get is the basic VPN package (being plenty good enough for the majority of users) and although there are many additional features available - these are not included as part of the basic package, I.e. each extra feature adds to the monthly subscription - depending upon your personal preference, As I don't need the extras, I'm very happy with the package - it does exactly what I need and I'm very happy with same and if you require help a good (on line) chat service too. Go for it!

Good speed and connection availability. One major drawback is amazon prime video app is not supported over vpn. Amazon prime video works with surfshark only on desktop devices and not on any apple Tv/Roku or any streaming devices.

i bought windscribe because of the price. during the trial period it worked well. after that my throughput was throttled and i kept losing connection. surfshark was worked great. they helped me disable IPv6 and I have this on my apple tv now. Thanks!

I have not had any problems with Surfshark. I recommend it as the top VPN for anyone looking for that service.

Pros: - Speeds are good and connections are reliable. - Excellent price. - Both a software and browser client available. - Clean and simple installation and updates. Neutral: - Not the most locations so check before buying. - Software looks and feels simple with less bells and whistles compared to the competition. - No free trial, 30-day refund instead and many other reviews noting problems getting their money back. Cons: - The software installs executable files (nonworking) in your start menu instead of links to the correct files in the proper directory. This simple, but easily fixable problem may explain why so many other reviewers cannot get their software to work on Win7. - Bugs like the above don't get fixed quickly. - If you choose the option to load their software at startup, the software doesn't load silently. Program remains in taskbar and needs to be minimized to the system tray manually. - System tray icon can indicate connected (green) when not yet connected to a server. - Kill Switch should restore automatically restore regular service when we disconnect manually.

I was new to using VPN's, but after looking at a few I decided to try surfshark and I couldn't be happier! It works seamlessly! I toggle between different countries super easily, connect and disconnect on all devices in a snap. Even my mom now uses it, that's no small feat.
