Surf Star does not deliver what they advertised. As I write I am unable to access their London or Glasgow VPNs. I can access on my iPad, iPhone and MacBook countless of their other VPN's from all around the world instantly. But not London or Glasgow. Yet they tell me there is some glitch in my devices that prevents me accessing only these 2 VPN's. Secondly they cannot deliver ITV or BBC iplayer through a VPN as both ITV and BBC detect the SurfShark VPN and block live overage. ITV is quite happy to provide catch up TV over the VPN but to live TV. I have spent many hours with the contact centre attempting to get all the above services working but to no avail.

The subscription was very reasonable. The service is very easy to use and ,as far as I can see, there are few errors or service breakdowns ,but to be honest I have had problems using the service on BBC I Player and Amazon prime. I have never used a VPN service which allowed me to by pass these companies.I would have no qualms about recommending Surfshark to my friends.

Ich nutze surfshark seit ein paar Wochen. Ob es wirklich Nutzen bringt kann man nicht beurteilen, weil die Surferverläufe nicht nachvollziuehbar sind. Was ich sagen kann, ist das einige Apps bzw. Programme Schwierigleiten mit aktiviertem Surfshark haben. So geht bei mir bezahlung per PayPal nicht mehr. Radio Tracker läuft nicht ohne Probleme. RTL Now läuft nicht mit Surfshark. Wenn ich es deaktiviere funktioniert wieder alles. Einen deutschen Support habe ich nicht gefunden und auf meine Anfrage bezüglich der Probleme wurde nicht geantwortet. Alles etwas enttäuschend.

I started using SurfShark In January 2020 after doing a lot of research online it was in the top 10 the 24 month deal was a no brainer so I signed up to it . SurfShark VPN works as described it gets me in to Virgin and Sky Sports when abroad and other sites which are UK only and various streaming sites I have had no problems so I can recommend it . Surfshark simply does not work as advertised. It does not work with Smart TVs and when queried they gave me a long work around which does not work either. They then refused to accept that it does not work. Very unhelpful support staff into the bargain. Now I cannot log into my account and I've been told that I'll have to wait for "a few hours." I should never have left Nord VPN, Surfshark truly is a joke. Ohh and they don't do refunds.
