Poor support model. I have had problems right from the start with nordvpn. I have struggled to find a UK server that I can connect to from the UAE. In total I'd say in the past 6 months I've been successful no more than a few days in total. Worst is their customer support. They are quick to respond but the model is all wrong. Instead of having one person help and work through options you get a different person every time you reply. Im in the middle of a long support chain of back and forth emails and every single time the instructions don't make sense because the new support person hasn't read the history. I am spending time trying to follow instructions that can not be followed. It's very frustrating. If I hadn't paid up front for 3 years I'd have given up long ago.
A problem from the begining, then spend my time to get it going ok, then another update and everything is rubbish again, spending to much of my own time fixing this thing.
This vpn provider is terrible. I purchased a 3 year subscription just to use nfl gamepass in brasil. It work for about a month. The speed was slow and video quality was ittermittent. Most servers would not give internet most of the time. It would take hours to find a server. The sound was always out of sync. Today i could not even connect. I contacted support they said they dont support gamepass. I said it worked last week. They then said their engineers are working on it. All websites except gamepass work. I switched to expressvpn and everything works great, sound was in sync, video quality perfect. Sometimes saving money costs you more money. Fake positive reviews lead to me selecting them as a provider.
Very good privacy and security. Good selection of options to customise your connection to the internet. Speeds can fluctuate sometimes, however.
Piv elendig. De lover man kun får op til 30% tab i hastighed. Men kan af erfaring fortælle at man mister op til 90% hvis man eks. har en 1000/1000MBit internet forbindelse. Oplever ofte at jeg kun får 100/100 til 150/300 ved test. Og bruger man meget tid på manuelt at afprøve forskellige servere, kan jeg man måske komme op på 300/300MBit. Men det er meget dårligt når de lover lynhurtig vpn....
I have a major loss in speed (80%) and I sent an email with a reply from them to answer questions. I replied with the info they requested on 8-30-2018. sInce then I have sent 2 emails asking for a reply. I have received nothing since I sent them the info they requested. I have an internet service that provides me with a 70mbs download speed on a good day. The lowest is usually about 40mbs. I now am seeing some speeds that do not register sometimes and now at 4-12mbs. I am ready to go to the AG with a complaint since I haven't received any replies. Beware if you are looking to sign up. I signed up a long term since the pricing was great. Now I am sorry. Just to be fair, I ran a speedtest after rebooting everything and I and at 21mbps at a 78ms ping. So today I may be getting about 50% if it is a low and I am tired or rebooting and disconnecting everything to make sure what the right % of loss is. The fact that this has gone on for 11 days without any response should tell you what their service is like. OH, by the way, good luck trying to call. I received an email on 9-13-18 and the reply was to try the things that I had already told them I tried, so basically, no help. They said to update the problem and it will be escalated but there is no place to escalate except here. I know there is a problem on their end because I use Speedtest and it keeps a history of results. I used to get 70mbps and at worst 40-50Mbps. Now I am lucky if I get 20Mgps. Their customer service is atrocious and my advice is to look at another vendor. I hate to do it but it looks like my only way to get some attention is to go through the Attorney Generals office.
Sort of happy with NordVPN now but at the beginning I hated it. It took 7 emails to get things sorted, as they advertised that you just started it up and geo blocking would stop, which is not the case as I found out after 7 emails it's only certain servers they don't actually tell you about. A refusal from them to refund even though it says 30 days if not happy, Nord have to agree and they refused my request, so don't go in to this thinking if I'm not happy I'll get my refund because you won't.

While NordVPN is not perfect and I'm still waiting for the city-level granularity on desktop apps, I think it improved, at least the speeds did
Jeg oprettede en bruger for at bruge til en bestemt begivenhed, med formålet at udmelde brugeren før deres gratis prøveperiode sluttede. Det gjorde jeg så, og så troede jeg at det var det. Men næh nej, nu her 7 måneder efter, har jeg først lige opdaget at NordVPN har trukket 105 kr. hver måned. Det havde været fint nok, hvis det bare var mig der var dum og naiv. Sagen er bare den, at selvom jeg har betalt 105 kr. hver måned, har jeg ifølge deres hjemmeside ikke adgang til mit abonnement, da det ifølge dem udløb efter de første 7 dages prøveperiode. Da jeg kontaktede dem for at få pengene tilbage, fralægger de sig alt ansvar, fordi min betaling foregik over App-store. Apple var dog så venlige at betale pengene tilbage efter en personlig opringning til deres kundecenter.
