The later versions of the application now seem very stable on the Windows platform. Generally it seems to cope OK with Windows being put to sleep while the VPN is esablished and recovers the VPN connection when the PC is woken up again. Updates seem to occur frequently but I guess that shows NordVPN's commitment to keeping the application working as well and securely as possible. Updates now install much quicker and with interference by the user.

The VPN is excellent once it works. I use an iPad and there are significant bugs with Safari coupled with VPN. For example, if I am using Safari with my home IP address, then decide to apply the VPN app to use an IP address from abroad, none of my tabs on Safari will open or work. Before I upgraded to 13.3.1 this was not a problem, and opening pre-existing tabs was seamless. Now it is a problem every time to open a new Safari window and set up new tabs to view material with a different IP address from VPN.
