THe latest version fails to store login info (if I want it to on a known safe home PC, I should have the option). Also, erroneous popups warning of downtime on the current server happen constantly (pop-up might happen, but no drop is detected even hours later). Both of these issues are new. Over the last several years I have been otherwise pleased with Nord's performance.

I had purchased NordVPN one other time in the past for a one-month period while out of the country on vacation. I made the purchase thru their app on my iPhone and easily cancelled the subscription through Apple. This year I purchased the “one-month” subscription through their website instead of thru Apple. Unbeknownst to me, NordVPN continued to “renew my subscription” every month (according to their “terms of service”) and I failed to notice the charge on my AmEx account for several months. Luckily I’m not out a crazy amount of $, but it’s annoying. Their website is misleading, my online account shows I had a one-month subscription & lists a one-time payment. No other payments are shown, so I assumed the service was set up for just one month unless I renewed. But the account was, in fact, still active and continued to charge me. Just posting this as an FYI.
