Very prompt support
Received great help from Alberto to set up the VPN with my Ubuntu box. Was pleasantly surprised, as others have said, to be dealing with a real person. Wish my ISP was this good!
Aberto helped me very fast in getting Ivacy running after a problem with the subscription. The help was excellent and very, very fast !! Thank you !
Seem to have problems with IP addresses being discovered in uk, but quickly resolved by the help desk - namely Tevez who was on the case quickly and gave me an alternative server address to use.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the support was handled by a human, not a "virtual assistant." It made the support process very smooth and painless.
I am a Electrical Engineer. My need Electrical Engineering job, please help me.
Best support I've ever gotten! I had a bizarre problem with setting up Ivacy VPN with my router, tried lots of other VPN services previously but none of them worked until Tevez from Ivacy support helped me set things up. Tevez tried to help me for about an hour until we found the solution. Tevez really went above and beyond and even used Team Viewer to try and solve the problem and never gave up even though we failed multiple times. I hope everything goes well from here on out
Ivacy VPN 2 year deal is a bargain, the latest update in Feb 2020, for some reason meant kill switch didnt work, but was advised by support to reinstall a previous version whic they gave me links for and all is ok again. Simple to use extremely good value was it not to like. split tunnelling, kill switch, Torrent downloading, dedicated streaming and geo unblocking eveything i needed. very pleased
It's only $80 but it hurts ;-) I bought a lifetime package because they advertise to 'unblock' the BBC (I pay my licence fee inside the UK but travel abroad) Ivacy UK IP addresses don't currently work well with the BBC iPlayer, I get a connection like once out of ten or so tries. The internet tells me that this is because the BBC are good at blocking connections from multiple servers -they look out for a 'signal' which tells them it's a VPN service and of course they block it. The BBC want to protect their revenue and patterns of multiple connections from the same IP addresses are seemingly easy to spot. It's a game of cat and mouse, which is documented by various blogs online, with helpful links to the few VPN services who would appear to change their servers often enough to get a reliable connection to BBC iPlayer. You can Google it. I went round the houses with Ivacy support who kept telling me it works and that I just had to try this way, that way. Manual connections, app based connections. They kept telling me the same thing even though I'd already tried it. It was really annoying! Like talking to a robot. It was a lot of wasted time, hours and hours of my time. Anyway long story short, Ivacy doesn't work with the UK BBC iPlayer service (not in any reliable way), they still advertise that their service unblocks the BBC (on their front page). They are refusing to refund my $80 -not even a partial refund of that. I get a mail pointing me to their terms and conditions -not so helpful and friendly now, just another business really. I wasted a lot of my time with their support telling me the same thing again and again. Note here: I'm not endorsing defrauding the BBC of licence money -I pay the licence fee and will continue to do so each year ;-)
Last night, I spent 40 minutes working with an Ivacy support person via Chat and they were not able to help me reset my password. They tried to help me use a screen share program but it would NOT work and I hung up, frustrated. Today, I used the same chat tool but this time, the VERY HELPFUL agent (Aaron) was able to help me get my password reset. Aaron also helped me with a billing error (I was double billed for services) and graciously offered me an extension of my account because of the mistake. WOW--GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE Ivacy!
