I knew that my IP number was visual to others until I installed GOOSE VPN. Its very simple installation and in a couple of minutes your IP number is hidden. I feel secure now. The startup process of my laptop takes a couple of seconds longer, but that's logical. I also had an experience that my wifi was not active. GOOSE VPN then came with 'an error has occurred', call GOOSE VPN service. Perhaps for those that know less about various operating systems, an idea to build in a remark like 'check if your online' or 'your not connected to the Internet'. I will continue using GOOSE VPN. BR

Internet speeds have left quite a bit to be desired... I'm getting about 70% speed locally and 15-20% of rated speed to USA servers which is the main reason I signed up.

I might change my mind if I get GooseVPN working and it proves reliable. But, for now I am very disappointed. I am a long time Linux user. All the instructions are written for apt based systems. My rpm based distro has different places for configuration files. The setup instructions are filled with spelling errors which prevent one from simply copy and paste. And, there are steps either completely missing or wrong. This kind of an issue is really inexcusable for a software. When I buy something, I really don't expect to spend hours trying to figure stuff out, reading search pages for clues and exchanging emails with support. The chat support is useless at this point. It is entirely geared toward getting you to sign up. I tried to go to the FAQ page and was greeted with a pop-up for a discount if I signed up. I was signed up and logged in. That's just bad business. Why would I trust my security to a company whose web site is riddled with errors, misspellings and incomplete setup information.
