No major issues what so ever with the service. Works 90% of the time. Customer service? NON EXISTENT. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HISTORY. PLAIN BAD. I messaged them because my renewal said 33 and they tried to charge 66 and they said yeah that is what it is, I asked this “David” why did it have a price in my account and you try to charge me a different amount and be said that is what it is thank you for choosing CyberGhost basically. ——-update—— Are you David??? cyberghost is great, it does what it says and it works fine, been with them for 4 years, no real problems. keep up the good work
It works almost like a dream. It does have some hickups sometimes when restarting from hibernation, but that happened only a few times. And upon installing third party software, for instance Amazon's Chime or running Netflix, it took a while to figure out that CyberGhost blocked these apps from working correctly. It would be nice if it where possible to prompt a notification when this oocurs, but I have no clue whether CyberGhost could notice such conflicts somehow. Mostly..it just does what it needs to do smoothly. And I am happy

GhostVPN does NOT work in China. Most reviews online incorrectly advised GhostVPN worked in China and nowhere on the GhostVPN site (including announcements and FAQs) does it state that GhostVPN does not work in China (this is misleading information by GhostVPN). After only 2 nights in China (not days), GhostVPN no longer worked and the response from GhostVPN is that eventually China blocks your GhostVPN permanently and there is nothing GhostVPN support can do about this. I have now asked for a full refund as GhostVPN were misleading as this important information was never advised nor stated by GhostVPN and was the primary reason for my purchase of GhostVPN. Then to be advised that there was nothing that support could do was unacceptable. GhostVPN is not practical nor useful. 12/8/19 Update - Cyberghost VPN have posted a reply advising consumers (inc prospective buyers) can view the limitations of their VPN including the fact that it may not work in China which is mentioned in the text and not in the subject line as per their help pages link (refer to Cyberghost VPN's reply for their link as trustpilot will not allow me to paste the link here). Consumers (inc prospective buyers) I suspect do not review every VPN providers' help pages to 'discover' whether the VPN works or not as it is implied under consumer law that a product is, 'fit for purpose'. Any exclusions or limitations should be disclosed upfront (open and transparent) or at least a link to its exclusions / limitations should be provided upfront. However this may or may not be enforceable by law which is why reviews via trustpilot and productreview (refer to the honest consumer reviews and not the fabricated reviews by some companies) are beneficial, In the end, it's your choice to make, just insure you make an informed choice.
