Doesn’t always work, VPN’s are known by some sites and the websites detect it and make me turn it off to continue. Had to purchase a different VPN blocker that worked, disappointing that I paid for this and can’t use it.
PIA is great. The split tunnel functionality on windows is amazing and unique.
I always wanted secure Internet Access for Home. And after a little internet research I selected Private Internet Access, the price was affordable and installation was relatively easy. The product works --- I tested it by visiting one of my favorite sites that knows my location -- when I use Private Internet Access it showed the location of the server that I selected.

I'm new with VPN. Our DSL internet provider could not give us good enough upload speed to operate our trucking load board that we depend on. We had no other good provider options in our rural area. Installing PIA fixed our problem. Had issues with Outlook sending messages, but activating the VPN bypass for Outlook fixed that issue.
Renewing my two year subscription was a bit of a nightmare. I had to contact customer care to be told to set up a new account, then subscribe to a new account for one year and then upgrade to two years. Could you not just offer a two year renewal option. I now have a new account number and no record of me being a long standing customer. Not good.
Purchased PIA 3/28/20. Setup pretty easy, quick. Using on Samsung Note8 and FireTV, FireStick. Discovered now when attempting to stream Amazon Prime programs I get this error : "Firestick error code 1044 - Amazon Prime HTTP proxy error. ... Please close or disable any proxy programs and try again.” This means that your VPN or Smart DNS proxy has been detected. Also known as a “Virtual Private Network”. Googling error code 1044 for fix, discovered problem exists for some other VPNs including this one, PIA PrivateInternetAssistant. Workarounds are complicated and most do not undo Amazon block. On the bright side, most other apps do work. Amazon streaming DOES NOT😔 Update 4/2... attempted a chat through support person Alex, who ignored my initial description of error 1044 that I received regarding this PIA VPN. Help person Alex asked for information I had already just put on the initial chat request, account name, account ID, and description of issue. Another words they wanted me to start all over again very frustrating."Please elaborate more on your issue". Not helpful. To reinsert info you have to flip between screens to regather the information to re-enter a second time for chat to begin. Before I had a chance to complete reinserting this information, the chat ended and help person named Alex disconnected. Suggest Alex Google "error code 1044" there are dozens of threads. PIA is certainly aware of this issue and should've included in service description. By the way, there is not a help desk but rather links to FAQs. When my 6mos ends I'll be better informed for extra VPN vendor.

Would give 4 stars but I purchased the yearly plan specifically to access DIsney+, I wish I had read reviews about this VPN not working for Disney+ oh well... other than that seems to work ok.
PIA is by far the best. Only vpn using the newest protocol wireguard. Only vpn with truly no logs backed up by public legal battles. If you want the best, most secure, true anonymous potential if you purchase with anonymous methods, VPN there is.... use private internet access. (#Basic name but #extra for protection.
